ModOrganizer MO Not Loading My Mods -- Pt 2
GrantSP replied to DarkPhoenix's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
Don't bother trying to use saves from your modded game in the blank profile, it will complain of missing plugins and/or objects (meshes & textures). I cannot believe you have a save game with the game missing Skyrim.esm. The game should just fail to load as nothing can be loaded to initialise the assets for a vanilla game. You'll have to consider all your previous saves as no longer usable and just start afresh. -
ModOrganizer MO Not Loading My Mods -- Pt 2
GrantSP replied to DarkPhoenix's question in Mod Organizer with STEP
Does using a blank profile with just vanilla assets remove the issue of CTD? Nothing you have described so far makes me think this is a MO issue specifically. 300+ mods means you may be close to, if not over, the plugin limit which would mean you will crash regardless of the manager used. On a side note you have a lot of mods that appear to be installed manually, ie. outside of MO's control, (those mods listed as *Unmanaged:) and these may be trying to load textures/meshes that MO is now not controlling directly which may account for your different assets showing in game. Not sure what you are trying to describe with the MCM. Any mod with an MCM menu will display a notification. -
@DarkPhoenix Please start a new thread and describe your issue and provide a list of mods active in your current setup. The OP's issue was due to the Windows Insider update and that is now rectified.

Problems with Fallout Stutter Remover
GrantSP replied to Kelmych's topic in Fallout 3 - Clear & Present Danger
Welcome to the dark side @GamerPoets. From here there is no going back. -
Incorrect. Using the patcher patches the actual game executable and it this that needs to called from MO. NVSE will automatically be called by this now patched executable.
-
Just keep in mind this is a tester build. ie the developers are expecting those that use it to see issues and report them.

Problems with Fallout Stutter Remover
GrantSP replied to Kelmych's topic in Fallout 3 - Clear & Present Danger
Check your OS build in: Settings - About. If it is Version 1709 with the OS build of 16299.64 then you are on the absolute latest build. (It may be possible to have 16299.xx and still be classified as the latest. Not entirely sure about the numbers after that decimal place.) -
CTD when using the Armor Workbench in FO4
GrantSP replied to GrantSP's question in General Fallout 4 Support
For me I also need to have each individual mod's config folder inside Data. ie. \Data\MCM\ Immersive HUD\ MCM\ QuickTrade\ -

CTD when using the Armor Workbench in FO4
GrantSP replied to GrantSP's question in General Fallout 4 Support
Off-topic. You know that MCM folder structure thing when using MO2 mentioned in the Discord channel? Does that mean only the folder structure for MCM needs to created and not the individual mod's folders? ie. all the sub-folders under the MCM\Config folder will be made by MO2 at runtime? -
CTD when using the Armor Workbench in FO4
GrantSP replied to GrantSP's question in General Fallout 4 Support
Yeah, not a lot of plugins to cause it, but nonetheless I have it. Thanks for the mod tip, I'll install that and see if I can tweak my setup to fix this annoying crash. I really hope it isn't the Win10 update that's doing it, I'd be really pissed if it is. EDIT: And the culprit appears to be Concealed Armor. No matter what I do whenever that mod is loaded I crash. I was also seeing an odd CTD when inspecting the armor via my pipboy, that too is gone now. -
So I've recently bought FO4, after putting it off for so long, and as I have been modding it up I now have come across a problem I can't seem to rectify. Whenever I activate the Armor Workbench and then move the mouse to select another item I instantly crash to desktop. I've tried deactivating any and all mods that I see directly modify armor but no luck. The only non-standard plugin is VIS_Merged which is my merge of all of Vardicil's Item sorting mods. If I decativate this and use the original plugins I still get the same CTD.

Good bye MO2. SE is not worth this kinda hassle.
GrantSP replied to rpgxomega's question in Mod Organizer Support
Yeah I've just bought FO4 yesterday after putting it off for sometime. (I'm not really a fan of the style of it compared to FO3/FNV, but that's another story.) This also means I am also testing the latest builds of MO2. -

Yes. -
Please post your logs and MO INI using "spoiler tags". You may also want to check out the link in my signature about tricky software, I also have a guide for removing the more annoying software Windows 10 installs.

This is the reason that this sub-forum has the highlighted subtitle: (Remember MO2 is still beta!) -
There is currently a preliminary release in testing that addresses this issue. No doubt a full release will soon be available.
-
I feel your pain with the issues you are facing but none of this is due to using MO. Once the game is started MO has almost no memory footprint with just a few lines of code that are used to check the "hooking" status. Any CTDs you have are NOT due to MO interfering. Most likely places to look for answers will be with your FNIS patch and then your bashed patch. (Also any other user-created patches you have.)
-
I can't see why the console wouldn't be safe, after all it was created by the developers to test various aspects of the game, including different types of characters such as the one you want to build.

Possible way to keep MO profiles installed files seperatly
GrantSP replied to RaShCl's question in Mod Organizer Support
The 3rd icon from the left in the toolbar is the Profile manager. Open it and select a profile from the list and then press the "Copy" button on the right. Close the dialogue. Select the new profile from the drop-down list and activate any mods you want. -
Caliente Bodyslide Not Showing All Presets in MOD Organizer
GrantSP replied to Braden's question in Mod Organizer Support
The Nexus redo of their site has nothing to do with the installation of these mods. From what you have described these specific mods are installed correctly. None of them have any masters other than Skyrim.esm so that message is not related to this installation setup. Again, any issues you have with enabling the features of BodySlide should be directed to its own mod page. -

Use the Profile management tool to copy the current profile into a new one. Make any changes to the new profile and they will remain separate. -
Caliente Bodyslide Not Showing All Presets in MOD Organizer
GrantSP replied to Braden's question in Mod Organizer Support
Make sure you expand the top folder to show the "data" folder and set that as the top level. Aside from that there is nothing MO specific about installing these mods, any issues you have with running them should be made in the mod's forum page. I just quickly grabbed and installed these mods you listed and I found no issue myself, Bodyslide shows the presets and the in-game creation also provides all the options such as tattoos. (You do need to set the texture by hitting "T" when in the menu and then select each one instead having "default" as listed.) -
Have a look at the short guide I made to remove all the Windows fluff that gets in the way.
