SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Darth_mathias replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Yes, a mighty pain in the arse there were some mentioned ages ago can't remember what they were now and I think they only covered Farkas and Vilkas we need to find one that covers all the male Companions so answers on a postcard. The easiest thing to do is to just pull Followers, Hirelings and Housecarls issue an updated merge and CR and roll with what we got but as always ball is in your court what you chose to do is fine with me. -
SKYRIMSE Dread's SSE Packs
Darth_mathias replied to dreadflopp's topic in Unofficial Skyrim SE Guides
Nice packs Dread all this mods i would likely use these if I was playing SSE minus Hunterborn personally I it grows annoying over time Unless I am roleplaying a hunter. -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Darth_mathias replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
hey, guys with regarding the lost of [Followers, Hirelings and Housecarls] I am pretty sure that only the NPC used from it was the Companion Males and Derkeethus via the CR and the merge (although I am unable to confirm at this point) so if you remove them from those esps it should be OK you continue using Option 2. We will now need to find a decent replacment for lost of this mod. -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn

WOW I have just realized that it was the 1 year Anniversary of this little guide 2 weeks ago and I totally missed it. I just want to thank every one of you guys and glas that have helped me make this an awesome guide (I never thought It would be if I am honest). I also want to thanks those that have helped me out along the way. A special big shout out to Paul and JD who looked after things right after my twins were born and my mind was elsewhere, SirJesto who created the LOTD patch for this guide and to Nozzer for giving me a big kick up the arse and pushed the standalone version out and of course my beautiful sexy wife and lovely daughters who have put up with daddy's madness. -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Darth_mathias replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
You should be able to skip things like Frostfall, Campfire, iNeed without too much hassle there not required by the CR. To be honest it's been so long since I actually played the game I can't remember but for Inigo and Sofia I would say no as there on there own follower systems (well I know for sure Inigo is). I can foresee a lot of people finally making the jump to SSE if MO breaks on Windows 10 and also when Vortex finally drops. -

Darth_mathias replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Well, then yet another reason to not use the crappiness that is Windows 10. I seriously can't ever see Tanian fixing MO since he now off dealing with Vortex and getting paid for it. Don't get me wrong it is good thing that the VRAM issue is getting "fixed" but it will suck for all of those peeople that have windows 10 and want to use MO. least I will enjoy the Skyrim community self-implode again. Plus the joyous Creation Club will hitting soon so fun and games for all to come I foresee in the near future. Have fun Guys now to get back to painting my girls new bedroom. -

I persoanlly haven't done any modding since like Febuary. -

Conflict Resolution File Missing
Darth_mathias replied to 1ndraa's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
depending on what mod you missed out it might throw out errors but don't panic got you covered there too: Report Masters Script (Use this Method if you have the esp plugin downloaded) This is a very useful little script that will help find all the Form Id's for a mod if you wish to remove a particular mod from this Conflict Resolution. Open TES5Edit. Select Only SRLE Extended Conflict Resolution. Right Click SRLE Extended Conflict Resolution. Apply Script. Select Report Masters the Click OK. In popup window chose the esp you want to remove. Then Click ApplyThis should now show you all form ids that are still linked to esp in question. Wyre Bash Create Dummies (Uses this method if you do not have the esp plugin downloaded) Use this method to create dummies of plugins you wish to remove from the premade Conflcit Resolution. Load Wrye Bash click on the CR and select File->Create dummy esps (this will create fake esps for what you are missing and place them into the overwrite folder). Load TES5edit with only SRLE Extended LOTD - Conflict Resolution.esp Selected wait until backgound loader has finished. Right click on SRLE Extended LOTD - Conflict Resolution.esp and check for errors. Remove the records that are broken from SRLE Extended LOTD - Conflict Resolution.esp (they will show after checking for errors). Save and Exit. Load SRLE Extended LOTD - Conflict Resolution.esp again in TES5Edit and then clean masters once done save and exit. Remove Fake plugins fron the overwrite folder. -

you can find the CR plus all extra files from Neo's SRLE Guide https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/77331/? look for SRLE Base Replacer esps plus some extra bit and pieces in the MISCELLANEOUS section of the mod page. -

JD is correct we do actaully say to merge Updates with the main mod however the only mod I have personally found trobulesome with MP is ã€DSAMG】Dragon Soul Absorb More Glorious for some reason it won't copy all the assets even thou Mator says it merges everything as it should but it doesn't for me (never figured out why) that why I said to leave it active post merge. -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Darth_mathias replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Yes Left Pane Placement is the left-hand side of MO. Yes have "Copy General assets" ticked this will copy all files such a textures, mnehes, soundfile etc. to the new merged mods. Yes once the new merged mod has been created the orginal mods should be deactivated in MO (unless otherwise stated). Follow the placement and mod order the guide states if unsure double check my Modwat.ch Profile https://modwat.ch/u/Darth_mathias -

Darth_mathias replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
OK, so I just want to be sure you are running 2 seperate installs of MO? cos if not you really should be. You really should clean the ESMs otherwise bugs will appear. Personally, I have never actually cleaned my ESMs through MO I know STEP suggests this and that why we do also but I have always cleaned my ESMs right after installing vaniila Skyrim and even before downloading MO that way the ESMs are clean right from the get go (cos why would you even want dirty vaniilia ESMs in the first place). -
SRLE Extended LOTD bugs and play through Issues
Darth_mathias replied to DarkladyLexy's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
stupid question did you make a COPY of the original meshes or CUT and PASTE the Orginal meshes cos you do need both. I would also redo the merge cos it sounds boinked to me. -

No that the usual problem of the date on the wiki self-updating. You will also notice that every one of the Wikis (and Paul and JD for that matter) that I have created are self updating every 24 hours even thou they haven't actually been edited. No one has been able to help get to the bottom of this problem it is really annoying all i now it has somethngs to do with the magic words in the timestamp but they have been confirm to be correct. -

Yes, I am aware of the fix. I believe it is currently in the pre-release test stage which means you need to sign up to get it. So hopefully it will filter down to a general release soon. Once it does that will finally solve a lot of the VRAM issues for all Windows 10 users. -
SRLE Extended: Legacy of The Dragonborn
Darth_mathias replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
Well since I am no longer activity playing Skyrim due to being very busy with work at the moment plus Lexy has decided to go on a Skyrim vacation we both don't have the time to test and sort out issues that might arise from such a big mod being installed in what is arguably a stable guide (some might disagree over balance). Plus there is the VRAM issue for Window 10 users (which I Understand maybe sorted soon thou.) Nozzer has also made it clear that he doesn't really want anymore quest mods in the guide as again there are quite a few and since he is currently looking after things I am say NO but he may have a differing opinon so if he wants to add it that will be up to him to sort out. for now your on your own but again Nozzer might have different opinons then me so ball is in his court on this one. -

That one is up to you but bear in mind that all of the esp's from NARC will be merged together using Merge Plugins later on. Both me and Lexy do have all these seperate but then we're quite anal. -

lol she is on "Vacation" from playing the game and guide maintenance and I am still "retired" well busy with work this is one of my rare weekends off so I have poking my nose in and catching up on the gossip. We've got a busy few months ahead of us 3 brithday's (well 2 really) I've got 4 or 5 festivals left on my books before we actaully have 2 weeks away end of August. Plus school holidays will be upon us soon so the daughter will be home and most probably hogging the internet and PC (Really should build her a new one). So I thought it would be easier than having my poor wife stressing about stuff.
