GUIDE Fear and Loathing in New Vegas - Feedback
darkside replied to EssArrBee's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
I found another pack - FOOK - New Vegas. Using only the optional files here. This pack covers a lot more than clutters. We can pick and choose. I think the FO3 - Retextured Clutter Collection is actually incoperate in FOOK optional file. -

I found this small texture collection for FO3 - Retextured Clutter Collection by ObsidianStag by ObsidianStag https://www.nexusmods.com/fallout3/mods/6894/? It covers several eye sores including typewriter, camera, small TV set, blueprint, vacuum tube light, etc. I am testing it now in this order Retextured Clutter Collection -> MG Pack -> NMC pack -> Poco Bueno. I really like the result. -

I just finished rebuilding The New Bison Hotel. Great quest mod. I paired its quests with several New Vegas Bounties quests. I found a few outfits that need to be added to exclusion list in necklace mod. MG texture pack is great. -

After more testing, I like MG texture pack. Clutters have more worn out look with higher resolution textures. Fitting in very well with NMC and POCO Bueno pack. -

I have been testing it correctly then . I think this pack will fill in the gap nicely. -

I checked in-game after removed these edits from Gas pump esp (00152099, 0016931C). There is no clipping or any anomaly that I can see. I think these are dirty edits. Interestingly, YUP edited these 2 records as well. @Mono - I will test MG texture pack as you suggest. I have been using MG pack for the last several hours by letting NMC overwrite this pack. I can't tell much difference in normal game play. I looked at textures from MG pack using GIMP. I feels that NMC and POCO Bueno have better quality. -

After ITM cleaning, I found only 2 more records to be removed 00152099 and 0016931C. I will remove it and contact the author. Hopefully, he can update his mod. He is still active on nexus. -

@Mono Gas pump mod needs cleaning. There are 69 ITMs. I don't know that it's matter. I will add it to the guide if you don't mind. EDIT - Added plugin cleaning to the guide. Please remove if the instruction is not needed. Thanks. -

What I mean is this file is in the old zip file, but the new zip file does not have this file (Weapons.of.the.New.Millenia.Leveled.Lists.esp). -

I found Whiterun market a performance heavy area due to lots of NPC. I saw you use Ordinary Women, Bijin mods. These can be performance heavy. -

Evolution of PC Gaming. What's your story?
darkside replied to TechAngel85's topic in Step Banter Inn
I have been a long time gamer. I started with NES. I fell in love with JRPG. This was very common for boy my age in Thailand. We played Japanese version eventhough we have no Japanese language skill. English translation for these games was not common at that time. I played Final Fantasy(I, II, III), and Dragon quest (III, IV). SNES is my next console. I again played numerous JRPGs. I used PC at home, but mostly for work. I was then got into medical school. My time for gaming had slowed down significantly. I never actually owned PlayStation, but manage to play FF 7, 9, 10 with my friend's console. I have no interest in newer FF. I had been busy with studies -residency training, and fellowship training. Marriage and kid came along. I just got back into PC gaming over the last few years. Skyrim, FNV, and Witcher 3 are my current favorite games. -

It is not in F&LNV guide yet. You can add this to F&LNV profile which I did personally. -
SRLE Extended Mod Suggestions
darkside replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I think lots of mods in SRLE extended have been patch for MLU by dreadflopp's pack. Removing high level gear from level list is probably the most tedious part.cstarkey42 may already have patched esp. Hint hint -
SRLE Extended Mod Suggestions
darkside replied to Darth_mathias's topic in Skyrim Revisited (retired)
I love MLU in my last playthrough. It makes obtaining high level gear more meaningful and rewarding. Combine it with Loot & Degradation make mining and breakdown equipment more meaningful as well. I think dreadflopp' s pack is an excellent start. Some additional conflict resolution is needed though. I vote for MLU. -

@Dreadflopp Are you following SRLE Extended? It is very interesting/actively developing pack, but not following Morrowloot concept. Can we use your patch to make it Morrowlootified (if this is make any sense)? Thanks for your excellent packs! -
Please let's us know how your new setup perform compare to your old GPU. I found Skyrim is not scaling very well with better GPU. Probably due to old engine. I have 980Ti as well. Great GPU.

I like the the idea. - I added 1st Person Weapon Animation Overhaul by Hitman47101 to my game as well. This mod still has some bug/issue, but works well for the most part. It is compatible with Enhanced Camera. I install it after Enhanced camera and WAR. I think the animations are better than WAR. - I tested Gas pump mod. It works and fits in well with gas station. Need cleaning with FNVEdit. - Which version of Mister Robot Redux are you testing? Full version? I killed bunch of them, but have no time to look at their animations. -

Got it. I will test it out. I checked the merge instruction. You need to add instruction to hide Advanced Recon Tech.esp from Advanced Recon Thermal Nightvision after merging. UPDATED - I update without any equipment lost. I edited to wiki instruction to hide Advanced Recon Tech.esp from Advanced Recon Thermal Nightvision -

SKYRIMLE Vivid Weathers - a complete Weather and Visual overhaul

Calibrating monitor with hardware colorimeter is essential to me. Older colorimeter is relatively cheap and give massive improvement in visual quality regardless of panel type (TN or IPS).
