  1. I had the same issue. My followers wouldn't appear ever again, unless I went to sleep in the same spot again whereafter I had lost them initially.
  2. For this Tamriel/Nirn must be in our universe, which is not working along with the lore for me at least. Nirn is in a universe of it's own, thus the possibility of a galaxy very similar to the milky way in sight of Nirn is not very high.If you'ld say the lore in Tamriel is like the bible for christians, and so the universe started with a big bang instead of some almighty entity, then you might say, that Tamriel could be in our universe - but since I won't start denying all the lore-related stuff my character goes through during my hours of playtime, I'ld just say that it's in a different universe, and when people want to look at the milky way on their desktop instead of outside, so shall be it. But BTT this mod does not follow the STEP mandate, IF the criteria are strictly applied.
  3. Borderless window causes screen tearing for me on my gaming rig. I've reverted back to 314 drivers but the issue persisted. I'm running with a GTX 680.
  4. For some odd reason my mountain snow lod texture is missing (purple), anybody an idea which of SR's mods includes this texture or whether it's an optimization issue?
  5. This might allow step to use body overhauls which are 99.9% nude... Keeping an eye on it.
  6. Same for me. With the 3GB ram ctd and other instabilities involved playing a severely modded skyrim a tool like this is a necessity
  7. Happy birthday! Hope you have the Time to celebrate intensively ;-)
  8. I pondered becoming a vegetarian... and thought about my mother's 4 ounces bacon-cheese-barbecue-burger. Good luck to you, mate! ;-)
  9. No, as all the changes you've already made are saved into the esp files. I was referring to, whether TESVedit cleaning has to be redone, because it now finds more issues or sth comparable.
  10. I've had issues with Raven Rock mine and the Draugr place near Ivarstead. But honestly, I don't think it will be reproducable with every setup.
  11. My next vacation will be in approx. 14 months. I might find the time to work on the "Gaining Performance Guide", the "Troubleshooting Guide" and the SSD-related "Hardware Guide" in that time. No, seriously, I just went through my calendar and that's what came of this...
  12. Does somebody know whether it will be necessary to do all the TESVEdit parts of SR again with the new TESVEdit version released?
  13. Wasn't that more or less exactly what I suggested in the opening thread? ;-)I found it out the same way as you ;D
  14. That is exactly what I have referred to in the Undead FX thread! Sounds good, but I'm wary of the script burden put on the engine if the dragonborn goes on a killing spree...
  15. Is this not already covered by USKP? I can remember talking about this limitation here already, but cannot recall whether it has been fixed already or not.
  16. Hey guys, does RAM usage increase if the Game Resolution Gets higher or not? Eg. If i Play at 1920x1080 with 2GB RAM usage, do i use 2.5 GB RAM with 2560x???? Resolution?
  17. I've done some testing about this matter on this forum, so just search for ilargeref tweak and you should find it. It definitely causes CTD on entering certain interiors.
  18. Have you redownloaded the archive?
  19. I'ld make an educated guess, that it is RAM limitation, since I cannot get good performance on my laptop with 4 GB RAM either. Even if it shouldn't make a difference to Skyrim ...
  20. I get really high temps on my laptop (90-97°C) if running Skyrim, so I try not to overdo it...
  21. The 660M is quite powerful... Though I cannot say, whether your laptop has good cooling. Try Ultra, but if it's too much for your temps, go down to baseline.
  22. How much free space would you say does a SSD require to run smoothly? I currently have 90/120 GB filled up, but I'm only halfway through Skyrim Revisited...
  23. In almost all cases, 1k is better for textures. Why? Because it doesn't use up that much VRAM. I'd use 2k mainly for textures used on large objects, like structure, or giant creatures. That's debatable depending on each setup. Of course, if you are tight on VRAM you wouldn't want to waste ressource on small thing like hair, clutter or any other minor stuff. But, if there is no vram/ram issue, 2K textures for hair would definitely have a high position in my I want list. ... he said before crashing into the "3 GB RAM usage"-Wall of Death. Be aware that any further texture load can make Skyrim use that tiny bit more RAM that makes your Skyrim become a CTD-nightmare.
