  1. Then it is an issue of convenient horses. Nonetheless: vampires are susceptible to fire damage, so why sit on a horse covered in blazing flames?
  2. You can use the mod without all esps as well. The esps are only for the full lod flags of certain object lods! I think the author provides comparison shots for the various options of his mod. If better than vanilla, the base mod without lods would be core/baseline and with all esps the option for better rigs, wheras the full option would be for step-extended.
  3. @ Neo: Will savegames be from the current Pre-Release be compatible with SR-LE? Since you are revising everything, I thought backwards compatibility might be an issue...

  5. There are five "Full-LOD"-esps: Whiterun Tundra Creeks Waterfall Effects Morthal Swamp - Light Morthal Swamp - Full Giant Campfires None of them conflict with Distant Detail esp wise, but they might do so in what they do ingame (various lods clip through another, etc...)
  6. I haven't had this issue once and that was with about 8 test runs.
  7. i've got a reproducable crash near Riverwood on a pure vanilla install caused by lvl.predator script. Somewhere in this forum there is the link to a fix for this script (bethsoft/nexus forum thread). Try that one out and see whether it helps.
  8. Actually the NMM installer is as well... It only installs one version of XPMS (iirc)
  9. The reason this is stickied, is that actually all people having issues with infinite loading screens post in that thread since in 9/10 cases it's the same culprits.
  10. It's an issue with the installer for xpms. You have to select the packages by installing manually.
  11. Run TESVEdit. If it fails to load your loadlist, the last esp it tried to load is your issue. Repeat until it loads your setup successfully.
  12. It's a option in the installer for SDO. The most demanding one I ought to say!
  13. Yeah, redo the binary from scratch. Seriously, either you want sunrays and keep using 314.22 or you drop them and go with the newest drivers.

  17. Same for me. Any chance you were using an older version of skytest on this save before? Maybe some sort of save corruption. Reload a save before you bought the property and see whether that helps. Other than that, i'ld try using unoptimized bsas for troubleshooting.
  18. You forgot to rerun DDSopt and drag over all the skipped (mostly png) files.
  19. Oh, can't tell why, but I only get screen tearing whilst using Borderless window. Using Full screen mode I never got screen tearing. Heck I didn't even notice I had Vsync turned off in my skyrimprefs.ini... I'll reenable it and retry borderless window to see, whether that was the reason... Edit: Yup, it was. Funny, I let Skyrim generate the inis freshly and it still had VSync disabled... Disabling Vsync could be the reason for your performance gains. FPS drops probably would occur, when your changing through cells and new cells have to be loaded, which are now a lot more detailed.

  21. Yep, had the same issue. XPMS is the culprit. Somehow the fomod installer doesn't work.
  22. This is a known issue with SkyTest which places Spawnpoints at the hearthfire home locations, which makes the houses there invisible whilst being constructed. Which house exactly are you trying to build?

  24. I've recently watched gophers video on Race Menu 2.0 and the possibilities it might bring for modders. I think it's only a matter of time before the first mods will add glowing runes after a piece of equipment was enchanted, so I'ld take the modded armor without optionals, since the "ragged" optional's additions look like a joke. Anyway I think this mod will get replaced by a more experienced modder's work sooner or later.
