  1. I have decided to not to clean the update and DLC's for Oldrim
  2. Good evening all, It has been awhile since I wrote a post on the forums and I hope everyone has a had good year thus far. My question is coming from wanting to follow the modding video guide on FO3 from Michael at Gamer Poets https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_7KCEMddYKs&t=. He recently discovered that cleaning the DLC from FO3 was not a good idea according to a few sources. Michael has since put the video series to a short halt. So here I am today wanting to do a STEP install of Oldrim. In sections 2.B/2.D should I still follow the guide as is and clean the update and DLC or will it do more harm than good as it could in FO3 and FNV? Thank you.

  4. Good day all! Just curious why this guide has so much less clutter and misc textures/vanilla item re-textures than SRLE LOTD? And is OBIS, Immersive Patrols, Scarcity - Less Loot, Perseids Inn's, Better stealth for AI followers, Vividian weathers/ENB and ELFX not compatible with Reqtified? Thanks!
  5. So I just finished merging all of Yuki mods. I ran the generate bash tags script and when complete it only applied 11 of the 12 tags. I did not gen Actors.AIPackages. Do I need to manually add it? If so, how do i do that?

  7. I noticed in the guide the YUP-PN patch is not used. Do we need to be using it? Mojave Patch Outpost
  8. I personally think Caesars Legion armor needs a change, who would have all that old armor back in the time of FNV? Makes no sense IMO. Do you think this mod would be good? Legion Armour Redesigned And is this neccessary or does PN cover this? I want my followers to be able to die. Killable Companions

Follow instructions for cleaning here.I cleaned the ITM records and only 35 were removed. I did not clean the UDR records as LOOT says to not clean them. Should I clean the UDR records and ignore the LOOT recommendation. Any idea on how only 35 ITM records were removed instead of the guide mentioning 356? I did not use the Update for the latest Dead version update file as Vurt say in the posts it is not needed since the main file is newer. Loveblanket - "Apologies if I am reading the files and description page improperly, but I had three questions. 1.) Do I still need the Dead Edition Update if I install the latest Dead Edition? I only ask because the update is over a year older than the newest version." Vurt - "1. No"
  10. Ok good that's exactly what I did. I removed the cut content mods and i left the mods/assets from the Advanced Recon Merged. Thanks EssArrBee!
  11. Starting with the guide and now that I have merged both Cut Content and Advanced Recon. Do I still need to have the mods in my left pane or can I remove them?

  13. Is the guide going to look different and what major changes is it going to have over the current guide?
  14. Nozzer will the new standalone guide be out this month or later?

  18. About to install XP32 Max Skeleton and one of the requirements is NetImmerse Override This was not a earlier install in the guide, do I need to install it? Edit: it is included in RaceMenu

  20. I chose to use NPC Retextures option 1 and after installing Windsong Skyrim Char Overhaul makes superior lore friendly hair redundant in MO. Should Superior lore friendly hair be moved below WSCO?
  21. Is the Immersive Horses.ini needed or can it be deleted? If we keep it what edits are recommended?
  22. I agree with Darth_mathias on his above suggestion minus the Sithis Armour and Blades. Even though I have yet to play I have a running excel sheet of mods not in the guide that I personally might use or even they might be a good addition to the guide. Let me know what you think. whew that was alot to type and link. I hope some of these make it into the guide! If some of these or equivalent are already implemented in the guide please let me know and I can remove them from my excel sheet.
  23. On another note how come Skeleton, Draugr and Dragon Priest re-textures are in the Vanilla Item re-textures section (47) and not alongside the other vanilla creature re-textures section (33)? Do we not use the Falmer re-texture from Kajuan? https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/66770/? Edit: On the Ancient Dwemer Metal mod, instructions say to delete the MO meta.ini (What is the point? This is the only mod that requests to delete it in the whole guide) (Once you delete it, it just comes back)
