  1. All the esp's at the end? Are they always there when you start? BOSS doesn't always recognize everything so you need to put some stuff in order on your own.
  2. You can also open the console and type ClearInvalidRegistrations. May take a few minutes and you need to save when done.
  3. They are the same speed on the user's end. Decompressing files from BSAs takes extra clock cycles, but not enough that a human can tell the difference while playing the game. We are talking about maybe a thousand cycles with 3 to 4 GHz processors, so the difference is .00000003 seconds or something even smaller. It's nanoseconds territory so just use whatever is easier for you.

  6. Okay, I'm done I think, to many pages to care anymore. No notes I noticed that really need adjustment or I've gone bug eyed seeing all those pages that I missed everything. I'm sure there are a bunch of mod pages that aren't on the guide so I'll start on those tomorrow with mods that are SR only.
  7. Took me about five minutes to realize who you were referring to. I was thinking about Gnome Chompski being in Skyrim, what, where is he? Yeah, the Book of Water is nice, really like the creatures pack for that.
  8. Use the Dawnguard faces from All-in-one face, it's part of SR and is not a glamor mod.

  10. Are there any numbers listed, like a 8 digit number. The first two digits are for the mod it's from, so if it's 00123456, then it is from mod 00 in your load order. That helps narrow it down.

Laterns of Skyrim - Default preset now included in .esm, so note not needed.   13. No you can't this will cause major problems. On mods that are purely replacers packed into a bsa can go without an esp after unpacking. If you try this with something like the USKP you will have a really bad time.
  14. It is true they cause crashes, but the people complaining about getting lots of crashes probably have 20+ other mods that add a heavy load of scripts for the CPU to process. It is often modders thinking as long as they stay under the 255 limit everything should run like a chocolate fountain, but that just isn't the case. Most are just to ill informed to realize this, and as soon as they get a couple CTDs they have to take to comments sections and flame from the depths of anonymity to hide their lack of modding skills. TL;DR If you only use STEP then don't except to many crashes.
  15. This is on purpose, we do not recommend the textures as they come from a different mod.
  16. maybe update to 99.6 or downgrade to 12.9, it's pretty easy you just overwrite with the older files. Actually I think 99.1 has been the most stable of the beta versions.
  17. Okay, first two sections have some questions and suggestions for guide and pages: What do we consider a clean uninstall for a mod? I get of course that textures, meshes, blah blah are okay. DSR needs to be uninstalled from the MCM menu. Is that clean? Anything that does not require a clean save by using console 'stopquest' command, exit, disable, restart, save? Brawl Bugs - Is the plugin needed or not? Is the plugin covered by another mod? Dead Body Collision - Why does the wiki page say Spell Location under the third photo? Is it the wrong photo because it is the same as the second shot? Skyrim Project Optimization - Why is there an LQ flag on the actual guide, this mod has only one level of support. - Where are the DG, DB flags on the guide. Trade & Barter - This mod needs HF flag on guide and note should say Hearthfire users use "T&B - Hearthfire. High Quality 3D Map - The BCF says Baseline, what is that for, should say Hi-Res, or Med-Res or something after the name of the file. Race Menu - Recommend Pre Cache Killer optional file. NACMIM - Note on guide about the SkyUI version checking in MCM menu to stop new threads from being created about it. Can be done in SkyUI MCM menu so many the note on that mod or this one.
  18. I'm going to say that this isn't an ASIS issue, since I've crashed a few times at that moment without ASIS active. I believe it has to do with to many things going script wise on player character and NPCs at one time. Also, Automatic Variants might be the problem with the giants, you could disable the giants variants in the SkyProc patcher menu and rerun it. Also, I would dump UFO in favor of Extensible Follower Framework, would require a new game, but the 4.0 beta version is really nice and has a companion wheel. This will not fix your current crash but will prevent stuff in the future, UFO is a great mod, but has not been supported in a very long time, before Dragonborn.
  19. It is pretty tedious, but if you use Opera 12 then just create a follower tab and that can help a bit. I always use that when I go through the guide doing a completely new reinstall to make sure I have the correct mod list. I look into the mods attributes and see if any notes are are out of date. For the additional information of the mods, do I use the Detailed Instructions on the Recommendations tab, or do I just edit the page with the standard wiki editor? Also, on the actual guide the 'W's for the wiki pages are no good. They are small and black so they can almost blend in with the gray background and I bet most users glance right over them and would never even know they are there. It would be better to have a uniform column for the links.
  20. Yeah!! Another update because we really tested all the new stuff for the last five releases, oh wait.... Version 1.53 -SMIM'd the rabbits to use high quality meshes and a new texture. This actually includes the rabbit creature itself and the hanging dead variants. The original rabbit mesh and texture was pretty awful. -Partially SMIM'd carriages to use a new seat mesh and texture. Also fixed many, many stretched wood textures and other various UV issues. This is a new install option. Prison carriage not included yet. -Fixed carriage rugs vertex color errors to remove black lines. All this time...how did we even play Skyrim with carriage rugs with black lines? How?! -Also fixed the annoying floating leather horse harness strips on the carriages. So many players never even noticed this issue. But to me it was a mockery; a cruel twisting of horse carriage physics. -And yet more UV fixes on Whiterun's main gate (wrdoormaingate01.nif). Wood beam UV fixes and improvements. Wood panels aligned to texture properly now. It's called quality control!
  21. Hey so some of the mod pages now have that weird yellow triangle thingy for skse, mcm, and skyproc flags. I haven't had a chance to see all of them, but so far it is on 4 pages. Also, what mod pages need to be updated or edited in any way. I'll start doing all that stuff for 2.2.7 if that is what is coming next. I did want to do a couple screenshot guides for SkyProc stuff and FNIS, so if you guys know of other sites that need a touch up, list them and I'll make note.

There's a new patch mod that is just fixes for vanilla and it would be the one want to start with over MMUE or NVEC, even though those are older and have more fixes they change other things in the game that aren't strictly bugs. It is called Yukichigai Unofficial Patch, check it out. Also, Weapon Retex Project by Millenia. There is currently no modder making better textures that him, nope not even Cabal. Actually I think he's also a staff member of the nexus. Now can we get back to ?
