That's the plan! But have you ever looked at that .bat file? There's a LOT of lines! It's going to take a good whole day. lolTrue, but at least it's mostly in chunks.  I'd break it into two files, one with the SRO stuff and one with everything after SRO and then you should be able to search relatively easily (assuming you have something like Notepad++).  If you wanted to get really fancy you could use Excel VBA to get a list of just the filenames (search for the extension, then search backwards for the backslash and only take what's in between) and then use conditional formatting to highlight duplicates, again this is using two worksheets/columns.

For some reason I completely missed your post earlier. (3hrs of sleep.... ) Thanks for the advice! I haven't even started on my personal project yet. (been working on a client computer all day) Since I only have a completed TPC combined folder, there is a lot of work in my future to figure out which are the SRO textures. Since I don't have them separately, it's the only way I'm going to be able to keep the SRO textures; hand selecting them out of the combined folder. I sent Starac a message asking if he'd be kind enough to provide them to me for my personal use...I'm not expecting much from that, but I can hope! You can probably figure it out with the batch file you used to create the folder and just delete/exclude everything that overwrote SRO.

Welcome aboard! Always glad to have new members, especially if they find an interest in testing mods ;)

Unfortunately there is no good way to for previous versions, you pretty much have to do it manually. Â We just built a system on the Wiki to do this, but none of us has the time to go through and make the legacy pages. Â If anyone's up for it I'd be glad to give you editing access and show you how :) EDIT: You might be able to get some info from the Changelogs;Â they're presented a little bit better than the PDFs.

That was in STEP but dropped in favor of SRO some time ago. With SRO gone this definitely deserves another look and I'd like to see comparisons against Serious HD and Skyrim HD.

Where are your recommended mods? - [SOLVED]
Farlo replied to akmatov's question in General Skyrim LE Support
The Nexus's search tool is fairly terrible, but as Techangel said, the names in the PDF are direct links to the files. Â If you do need to search the Nexus for mods, I recommend using Google and just attaching "Skyrim Nexus" to your query. -
CTD at random intervals - [SOLVED]
Farlo replied to Vintage5's question in General Skyrim LE Support
Welcome back, hopefully we can help you enjoy the game again! Your old savegame is definitely the first culprit I'd investigate. Skyrim (and the mods in STEP) have changed a lot since then and it's very likely there's something broken in there. Try making a new game and playing for a while to see what happens. If you just following the v2.2.0a guide then it's already a little out of date unfortunately. I'd suggest you go through this list of proposed changes for v2.2.0b and follow the removals/replacements it mentions. Â You can disregard the TPC and SRO business if you already have those files, there's no way a texture file is causing CTDs. -
It's not really user friendly, but using the basics is pretty simple. Â At the very least getting the basics for this up, along with the MO guide are on my list, but first I need to install STEP and sort out the new mod list without TPC.

New AO functionality for AMD vs nV-AO

It's weird how such a subtle change can really make the entire scene look better. Will be giving this a shot. -
DROPPED Unofficial Skyrim Patch (by Unofficial Patch Project Team)
Farlo replied to frihyland's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
If anyone's read through it, have you found any other mods from the Fixes section that we can ax thanks to this? -
Any chance you can post some screenshots and locations? I'd like to try this out as well, maybe we can boil it down to certain textures and just exclude them from the DDSopt.
-
I know I will have a section in my new guide for SRO for those that have it (because I still use it myself). As for STEP itself, they have been removing anything that is no longer available as I imagine it would be hell to test going forward or have public testing at all.Unfortunately yes, we won't be officially supporting SRO anymore, however it should be too difficult to incorporate it if you have the textures. Â I'm sure there will be a "guide"/post somewhere when we push v2.2.0b, but essentially you want it to overwrite the other big texture packs and be overwritten by the little stuff.
-
The notes should have a link to the correct Wiki page, but be aware that the guide is a bit outdated now that SRO has been removed (and thus TPC is broken). At this point, just rgab the list of mods included in TPC and install them manually, along with following the proposed changes on this post. And you're a Wiki Editor...? :P Google the Mediawiki Cheatsheet, that should get you up and running. Most of the mod pages can be edited with forms as well, which make it a lot easier to manage.

I'm sure it costs a pretty penny as well.
-
Let's not do this anymore. Â Not that I don't trust you, but there are some more nefarious out there and The Nexus is (usually) pretty stable.
-
I won't delete it.  What do you think this is, the Nexus!? As I mentioned on the Nexus's STEP thread, we won't reference work unless it's uploaded to a known Skyrim modding community.  Whether it's technically illegal or not is irrelevant as it is unethical and goes against the principles of intellectual property rights.  We can't stop you from getting the files elsewhere, but as with pirated copies of Skyrim we will close any thread seeking support for it. Â

As Techangel said, TPC is essentially broken and likely isn't coming back. In the next STEP version we'll be reverting to installing all the mods individually using Serious HD as a base. If you don't want to wait for us to "officially" release the new guide you can just install all the TPC mods manually along with following the changes slated for v2.2.0b here. Obviously this isn't an optimal solution, but it's the best we can do short notice.

SKYRIMLE Possibly The Most Realistic Rocks and Mountains in Skyrim
Farlo replied to Ramrod51's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Yeah but those don't really fit Skyrim's theme, it even says so right in the name :P -
Updated your OP using the awesome powers of Special:MyPage which allows you to build links based on the username of whoever clicks them.  Other than that, good work, hopefully we'll have some more things for Wiki Editors to do as well, especially as we figure out where 2.2.0b is heading.

DROPPED High Realistic Tundra Moss for AOF (by Aron)
Farlo replied to TechAngel85's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
Gross!  Take it away! -
Stop feeding him. Â Last warning for everybody.

Alright, I'm gonna call it here guys, this thread has been derailed enough. Â SRO is gone from the Nexus and no longer concerned with regards to TPC. Â With that in mind, and despite my interest in seeing it discussed, the debate needs to stop here in order to keep this thread on target. Â I don't want to "silence" anyone, but these forums (and in particular this subforum) are not the place for this, so let's all give it a rest and just deal with what happened. Â This is my in-formal warning for everyone, so if you guys keep pressing it I'll remove any responses and start issuing real warnings. Â Let's get back to the issue at hand: how TPC is going to move forward and what kind of alternatives we're looking at as far as textures.

I called it, and knew this was going to happen, hell when you set up a Donation box, It's right there in black and white Don't ask for money. Oh, I thought you called that he was going to require donation, not that he'd get banned for it, that's obvious.
