  1. That is exactly why I did, what I did. Honestly, batch files could be provided which could be ran in a mod directory that will do everything.
  2. Whoo, just passed 100 hours on my save and had only 5 crashes. 1. I alt tabbed and when tabbing back it crashed, nothing too concerning 2. I suspect it was the magic effect crash, which was supposedly fixed in 12b of crash fixes 3. Ditto and in the same world, fighting the same creature type just in a different location. 4 and 5. Something with wyrmstooth and one of the caves, it was repeatable but it eventually went away, I summed it up to bethsoft weirdness.
  3. 1. Only affects VideoMemorySizeMB 2. Yes, that is all windows will report on 8+, win7 does not have this issue. For me its a difference of (22528/4096) As for enabling/disabling it, early on it used to be weird and change values on each launch but today, I leave it enabled as it is consistent and accurate.
  4. oh, that is weird. I'll have to look into it a little bit more but Scythiss isnt 100% crazy. It must be a spawn or something. In OR, set these and test WindowedMode = 0 WaterManagement = 0 CustomEffects = 0 FrameRate = 0 SaveSettings = 0 CombatMode = 0 CameraMode = 0 EquipmentMode = 0 SleepingMode = 0 GrassMode = 0

  6. Event viewer is useless. If youre saying OOO and OR are incompatible then I HIGHLY doubt that.
  7. I think its the crime radius and I also feel like that. Try setting the crime radius in WB from 1000 to something like 2000 and see if that produces the result you want. Or you can open the Bashed patch in xEdit and change the matching global variable which is probably way easier.
  8. If its the one I am thinking of it adjusts the distances so that at high FPS you get all the LOD but at low fps is shortens the distance which helps framerate. I find it keeps the fps a little bit more stable as well as trying to offer the best of both worlds.

  10. The more heap mod doesnt allow oblivion to launch for me. It seems to do the same thing as heap replacement in OSR. The default heap of 256MB for oblivion doesnt seem like it is enough, even for vanilla. Set iHeapSize = 512 and tell me if it crashes
  11. If the texture flashes in then dont send me the files because the texture is there(maybe). Can you also send me the OSR inis Im just trying to piece things together.
  12. OR should not crash, what is your ini for it? Those should not be orange, I would like to know the reason. OOO/OR should be fine, as they don't touch the same things.
  13. Okay, so Im looking for a specific file. Look in your oblivion folder for "Meshes\Architecture\Ships\ShipWreck01.NIF" If you have it, archive it and send it to me. If that file does NOT exist then load up xEdit with your full load order and press ctrl+F3 Then in the search, look for "Architecture\Ships\ShipWreck01.NIF" If there is more than one in the list select whatever is loaded last and right click, save as and save it where ever. Archive it and send it to me. EDIT: if you want to do the same but with "Meshes\Landscape\CypressKneeCluster01.NIF" and "Landscape\CypressKneeCluster01.NIF", respecively
  14. My attitude toward the game is to not take it too seriously; skyrim has the support to be fixed, oblivion does not. Also, after the first launch paste the contents of the created ini here.
  15. The post above is what I am referring to as that is definitely an issue. Everything has a reason, even if it isn't quite understood yet. It being consistently broken is fine as it is something to go off of. The "new" CTD could be because Oblivion is running out of heap memory where as before hand, the oblivion may have not been able to allocate a bigger block, thus CTD. Lets disable OSR's heap replacement in favor of more heap and test again, please report back. EDIT: be sure to place the dll in the obse\plugins\ folder. I don't know why authors cannot pack mods correctly. EDIT2: I mean, I could investigate the virtual side of things but that isn't something that I have a lot of knowledge on.
  16. It most likely would as it can also get a version number and nexus tracking. I was thinking about doing that for a few things that I have floating around.
  17. hmm... What is your enblocal.ini settings for the memory section? Out of curiosity, try setting the heap size at 512 then 450 and see Hmm, grab a formID off of one of the objects and then open your load order in xEdit then search that form and see what pops up. Hold ctrl and click the mesh/static/name/base and see what that record is. If it is NOT a record post the directory and we'll see whats up
  18. For the CTD try disabling HeapReplacement in OSR As for the assets it could be a simple typo in the directory of the mesh or w/e.
  19. It really depends on what you want. Im going to ignore the vanilla-like requirement as it could be changed and I am going off memory with these. If you want good color then Pure Weathers(edited vanilla weathers) If you want realistic-ish then Natural Lighting and Atmospherics(edited vanilla weathers) If you want rainy/cold weathers then Climates Of Tamriel(adds weathers)If you want a mix of PW and COT then Vivid Weathers(adds weathers)If you like the idea of NLA and VW without adding weathers then Natural Lighting Vivid Atmospherics(edited vanilla weathers) My choice would be NVLA for standalone and low patching(I think only AOS)When it comes to ENB, NVLA shouldnt be too bad on performance if you disable the heavy hitters but ENB is required for the snow. VW snow can be heavy on weak systems.
  20. I don't really know what that would do unless you are lacking assets and a spawn, despawned. The yellow textures is a pretty big problem. Can you show me OOO plugin and bsa or your entire folder
  21. OR should be allowed to edit the distance settings, as it is part of the FPS manager.
  22. Just a question for Darth, why don't you upload the various patches to a single page on the Nexus?
  23. Run opini with raised permissions, I'll get a similar issue. It could also be that the ini file is falged as read only which may present the issue
  24. You are missing a ton of textures, something went wrong during the install of something
  25. I don't know, I don't crash. I don't know if its the engine being terrible or if something in the LO is busted.
