  1. This looks like an interesting alternative to ASIS increased spawns. Has anybody been testing or tested this mod in the 5 months or so since the last post? The mod was last updated on 13 July 2013.
  2. I would like to mention something about Maximum Pre-Rendered Frames. I had this same problem in Oblivion- and that is micro-stutter. Having V-Snync on, setting FPS limiter to 60 and using a borderless window seems to correct much of the problem. I have a single GTX 580 video card so this issue is not only for SLI users. Setting Pre-Rendered Frames to 1 really solves this problem for me (as it did in Oblivion) and from a google search I am not the only one. I can now turn around 360 degrees smoothly. I think it should be mentioned in the guide that for some setting this to one solves this issue. I am also curious as to what source states to set this to 8. Just wondering.
  3. Video would be great :)
  4. Thanks guys :) I ran the optimization. Since I spent hours yesterday using this tool on various mods and today I notice less crashes for certain. Using less VRAM as well.
  5. Ok the legendary edition says: I guess I did this wrong. Mod Organizer moved all the files from their mod folders to overwrite after the patch completed. I moved them back to their mod folders and then optimized them. So I had two folders. But since the path is not standard it was not like other Optimized folders in MO. I had no optimized folder that I could select and place under (for priority overwrite) the regular mod folder. Since its not data/textures its data/Skyroc patcher/xxx I wound up just overwriting the textures directly but that leaves no backup. Can somebody give me better instructions on how to do this step by step? Yes I am slow sometimes! lol
  6. What say you guys about adding this mod now to a new game? Nexus is full of horror stories. With a full Skryim Revisited install + Skyre on top and some other mods I try not to go overboard with bugged out mods. One of this scope especially. How has your experiences been?
  7. AHh so this behavior is part of how it works. I had a CTD and then saw this as well. Boost.exe was at 1.72 GB of mem in task manager. I don't use just the boost, but the latest performance ENB from Realvision ENB version that goes with ENB version .200- The boost.exe still runs in the background.
  8. I too am impressed with that Mod list. All except for Civil War Overhaul. I fear it maybe too buggy at this stage. I have read many posts in Nexus about screwy faction stuff that made me hesitate to add it. I would hate to level a char to 30 or higher to then start Civil War only to find the game so buggy that I can't continue or have to resort to console. I am still thinking of adding it and starting a new game though. The Civil war was always the most disappointing part of the game and so this overhaul looks extra promising!
  9. What if anything did you have to do with Helgen Reborn? Were there many conflicts?
  10. Or, even better, use Wrye Bash to change the ESPs requiring ReProccer.esp (or another SkyProc patcher) to use SUM.esp instead. It works, and you don't have to reapply the change if you rerun SUM. I think ReProccerDragonborn.esp is the only one that has ReProccer.esp as a master, but they could be a few others. When I try to change ReProccerDragonborn.esp in Wrye Bash it won't let me select the SUM.esp in the overide folder. The error says files must be selected from Oblivion Data Directory. If I move the SUM.esp to the Skyrim/Data will that cause me any issues? I have no other esp/esm from MO in there now, just vanilla.
  11. Thanks for all of your hard work on this stuff. Its truly great work. The new and unfinished guide has been particularly helpful with DDSOpt Processing. Its about all I have been using it for. I feel I have learned a lot about the tool, how to use it and why its needed.
  12. Yep when in doubt I use the SR guide 1.0. :) I am almost done with my install! Now comes the hard part- adding non SR mods like Skyre, Interesting NPC's, Faalksar, Asis and Immersive settlements. I will do this part slowly and I backed up a full base SR install if I run into issues. The Skyre thread here is a godsend!
  13. I am installing Skyrim revisited but also following along with the legendary edition. I know that the legendary edition is not finished but I wanted to ask a question about some things that are included in Skyrim Revisited but not included in the Legendary edition. As I go along keeping both pages open in the browser I notice that some of the TES5edit corrections in Skyrim revisited are not ported to Legendary edition. For example: Unique region names on the Skyrim Revisited page has TES5edit changes that will take about 30 minutes to implement. (Says Warning:This mod does not carry forward changes from the various DLCs)Â In the Legendary page it does not even mention that it needs changes in TES5Edit. Does this mean that in the next edition those changes are no longer needed or does it mean that it just has not been added to the Legendary guide yet? My guess is that it just has not been added so when faced with this I always follow the revisited guide changes for any edits. Its just this one is extra tedious lol. Thanks.
  14. I have been going through ENB's like crazy the past few days, mostly to get one that I found works best with Climates of Tamrriel. Well I think I have found it. I really really like this one the best.
  15. What issues does Afterburner cause in Skyrim? Just wondering. I use it to overclock the GPU and I use the OSD to measure fps, Vmem, OC setttings, temp and fan speed. None as far as I know, but it may be incompatible with ENB when it's running the OSD. Maybe that was it... I haven't been able to find the article I read. That is the main thing from my own experience. I cant run it with any ENB profiles. Without them it runs fine as my previous play had about 100 hours with it on.

  17. None, though for me it was more the result of the borderless window. I just like ATTK for the options of increasing CPU priority and optimizing ram while still being able to load the game with the borderless window and SKSE. I haven't done extensive testing with ATTK but it does feel smoother.
  18. Yes, ATTK launches SKSE Automatically. I just run the defaults. Sometimes I disable explorer also.
  19. Try ATTK https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/27959 Also try running in a borderless window- ATTK can be configured to run with the one below. This should help stutter- it did for me and I also have a 580. https://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/4
  20. Thanks! I will just use a cached version till you update :)
  21. So I was in the process of going through a 2.2.1 install from the wiki. Just now I started getting the following error: Is it related to today's maintenance or do I need to go and download this PHP version 5.3.2?
  22. Thanks! Thats not too bad actually
  23. Can anybody who is using this with STEP post a list of any STEP mods that this should not be used with? It seems like this mod is the most complicated to get working right in a custom step install.
