  1. I have a 3GB EVGA GTX 780Ti... I'll drop a link to a Screenie of Megaton taken from just outside Moriarty's here... https://img.photobucket.com/albums/v664/libelstuff/Fallout3exe_DX9_20140930_110259_zps7e245f9f.png Midhras' ENB might not be everyone's cup of tea, but I thought I'd try it on the principle that if the setup can handle that one it would handle anything, and so far so good.
  2. FYI Kelmych, I have everything running with Midhras' ENB and the Forested Vurts, Xepha's Weather Mod, NMC's and the other suggested texture mods and the wasteland looks freaking awesome. The added sounds and in game music etc just makes things even better. And stable and solid performance wise. Haven't had a single CTD. Even while blowing raiders away with a Plasma Rifle.
  3. Heh, I've never had an issue with FNIS, but it has been known to happen, apparently. Touch wood it's all OK now and you can get on with beating the snot out of Alduin. :) It's also just possible that you may have had an issue with the bashed patch, but that's an educated guess at best...
  4. Yes there's a way. Copy the current STEP profiile to a new profile. Name it 'testing' or similar. Then start a game using that profile, and disable mods there, test and see how you go. If/When you find the culprit, go back to your STEP profile, fix what's needed and away you go. You can then delete the 'testing' profile at your leisure. Another thing you could maybe try is copying the ini files, keep them somewhere safe like the desktop. Then go to Steam, and verify integrity of game cache. Let Steam do its thing, if it finds a dodgy game file, it'll fix it. Then boot the game in vanilla and see if all is fine. If so, and I suspect it will be, you can start adding mods back in via the STEP MO Profile. Copy back in your previously saved tweaked inis. and just steadily add a mods section, jump into game, see if you're stable. If so, move onto the next one, rinse, repeat. Still strange you're having issues...
  5. Got to admit, I'm at a loss too. Do what hishutup says. Enhanced Blood and Shock and Freeze have been known to cause issues. But cant see why they'd cause an issue there. Sorry you're having so many issues, it's really strange.
  6. Rebash the patch if you need. It's not difficult and is quick to do. And yes, that's what I was saying. Sort masters on anything non green. WIth the Racemenu thing. 2-9-1 is the current version. It's just a little unusual that you'd have it in there twice. The one that's totally greyed out could just be unclicked in the left pane. Seeing how it's totally overwritten. I doubt you're missing masters, cause if you were you'd likely CTD at the Skyrim menu, not at chargen or entering the keep. We'll keep punching on this. We'll squsih the bug somehow. :)
  7. There's not as much a MODS limit as there is a plug ins limit. If you hit 255 or more plug ins you'll get issues. Now having said that, most texture and mesh types mods wont have plugins, just the texture and mesh files, so you should be able to toss a few of them in there as long as your card and memory don't have a headache. Do the same thing sorting masters as I showed above for any file that's not green in Wrye as well. Will possibly save issues in the long run. The strange thing I'm seeing in your images is that Racemenu looks like it has a grey lightning bolt next to it. That essentially means it's being overwritten completely by something. Could you try double clicking on Racemenu, clicking on the conflicts tab and seeing what files are overwriting it?
  8. Not any more it's not. Another link fixed. :)
  9. The STEP patch isn't actually red, it's orange. There's a difference. Orange usually means Masters are not correctly sorted. MO would show if you were missing masters. There'd be an exclamation point in a triangle next to any plugin that was missing a master. Try what hishutup suggested first. Then if you want to get rid of any orange files in Wrye Bash, what you need to do is this: Open up TES5Edit. Load JUST the plug in that Wrye's reporting as orange. Let TES5EDit do its thing. This time though, when it's finsihed, right click on the plug in in TES5's left pane. Go down to 'Sort Masters'. Select that option. TES5's usually fairly quick in finishing, but I usually wait a second or so then close and save. Next time you start up Wrye, that plugin should show as green. The other thing you can try is this: Fire up TES5Edit again, and this time load EVERY plug in. TES5Edit will load them all and if any are out of order or there's a problem, will abort and tell you. Often it's as simple as one .esp file not being loaded before another .esp file, etc.
  10. Kelmych, I recalled enough wiki-fu to edit a couple of links that were pointing to the wrong mods. One was the Busworld English translation link, which was pointing towards the Busworld FWE compat patch instead. There were a couple of others too but just cant recall what at the moment.
  11. Yes it is. Just copy the whole Mod Organizer folder over.
  12. If you wanted to do that you'd have to do it after LOOT ran.
  13. Nope. Easy fix. Install the mods you missed then using MO's drag and drop, pull them up to where they should be in the install order. So install the first mod in 2F and drag it back up to just under the last mod in 2E. Continue till you've done them all. Sorted.
  14. The start movie is often screwed up like that. It's got to do with all your mods scripts firing and mods being loaded while the game's using memory to run the start sequence as well. Couple of fixes: 1) Install Arthmoor's Alternate start mod. With that, you'll start in a cell, where you can design your character, while all the mods load and scripts fire. When you exit and the game asks you to choose your start, choose the 'caught crossing the border' start and you'll get the vanilla start sequence. Hopefully without glitches like horses at 90 degrees to travel direction, and carts upside down etc. 2) Hit the console key as soon as the Skyrim disappears. Leave it on console like that till your mods load. 3) I've had success limiting my FPS to 60 at the start. Do that via ENBoost or the ENB ini files if you're running one. Have used all 3 of those with varying success.
  15. Hmm, Ok. I had to re-enable everything the time I did it. No big deal, though. EDIT: Though on second thoughts that was probably cause I only copied the DOWNLOADS folder over not the whole thing. Just ignore me, I am a peanut.... *facepalms*
  16. I believe so, yes. You'll need to re-enable all the mods as well, of course.
  17. I've found that'll happen if you start doing things in MO before everything fully loaded and the plugins list is populated on the right pane. My solution is simple, just dont touch MO to do anything till all's loaded up OK.
  18. What texture mods are you running exactly?
  19. With the crashes on the ENB install, have you tried running your load order through TES5Edit to see what it throws at you?
  20. Are you sure you saved the plugin after it was cleaned? And Dawnguard.esm does need to be cleaned twice anyway, I believe.
  21. Am digging the copper pipe. Gives it a bit of a Steampunk vibe. :)
  22. Which inis are you editing? Are you doing it via MO? As for the double cursor fix, it's just added like any other mod in MO.
  23. Delete them both and restart the game through the launcher once. That should remake the vanilla inis for you.
  24. It's actually more likely a missing mesh, and if it's only showing the ! when on the ground, it would suggest it's missing a ground model.
  25. Have a look at things like the packs. I personally use the Real Explorers Guide to Skyrim pack and the Requiem pack almost verbatim from the guide. Makes the whole game so much more immersive and even difficult at low levels.
