  1. With 1) The memory patch isn't needed any more with Crash Fixes installed and set up correctly. ENBoost is hinted at by installing the ENB binary files, but as more users than not will install a full ENB preset anyway, it's not explictly mentioned. If you didn't want to run a full ENB preset, then just install the whole Wrapper version files and set up the enblocal.ini and enbseries.ini 4) You are cleaning Dawnguard twice. You're just not saving the backup twice.
  2. I was just thinking, how would a mod like Pumping Iron work in with this? On a role-playing sense it would fit perfectly.
  3. At this point maybe actually posting you have an issue with DynDOLOD in the DynDOLOD forum might help. Sheson's pretty regularly in there giving support.
  4. Cant say i've used it so not sure how well it works but there's mods like THIS ONE that give NPC's undies. I guess you can try it and see.
  5. I'd use Crash Fixes over Safety Load as it's more all encompassing, but if you have stuff working all's fine.
  6. Is there a handy 'how-to' for using Wrye as a mod manager? Am curious to check it out.
  7. To be honest matt, I can see where you're coming from. You want to mod the game, and you'd rather have it done expertly. You're not the first to come in here and ask. I can recall at least 2-3 others. :) If you do decide to try and mod the game yourself here's some advice I'll offer you for free. 1) Read EVERYTHING! Then read it again. The devil is often in the details and small print. 2) Test your game often. I tend to do it after a certain group of mods, like all the fixes, all the UI etc. 3) Take your time. Don't try and complete all a mod guide in one day. Do a group, walk away, have a coffee, smoke a cig, have a beer but take some time off on the way. Sure you want to play the game, but the satisfaction of doing it right outlasts the quick spark of doing it fast. 4) Come in here and ask questions. None of us bite. :) And on a related note, do use the forum searches, in case your question may have been asked and answered previously. Most Importantly: HAVE FUN AND LEARN SOMETHING. :) Hope that helps!
  8. Running out of 'mod room' meaning hit the 255 plug in limit? Not as huge an issue now with utilities and tools like Merge Plugins and Skyrim Mod Combiner etc. It's possible to save plugin slots quite easily now using these sort of tools.
  9. Sounds like a magnetic personality. :) Items just want to stick :)
  10. Go to the archives tab on MO and make sure every file in there that's tickable is actually ticked and that you have MO set up to manage archives is what I'd do first.
  11. Just to make sure, there's nothing from the DSR patcher left in Overwrite is there?
  12. It's an either or on the merge or keep everything separated. If you prefer the more fine control of seeing everything laid out for you, keep them separate. The Pro is you can see everything you've installed and know if you've missed apatch etc. The Con is the left pane is longer. if you prefer a less cluttered left pane, Merge them. It'll work either way. (Though if you do decide on merging them, I'd still advised keeping the aMidianBorn stuff separate. Just to make some of the changes you make after installation easier)
  13. Your issue is likely that you're working off a current version of the merge guide but an older version of the main guide and there's been a few changes made. Two ways to handle it: 1) Is go back, see what you're missing and double check you have everything installed. If not, install what's missing. 2) Go back to a version of the Merge Guide that is more in line with the version of your main guide. You can do that using the links up the top of the Merge Guide. Should be one for previous versions, etc. It's a 50/50 on what's the easier option, really.
  14. Touch Wood *Taps Head* Good luck and enjoy.
  15. Just move the esps around so they are in correct order. If you look at the actual LECM merge it says to have the plugins in the order SMIM-Merged-All.espBlowing in the Wind - SMIM Merged All Patch.espIf you haven't got that order as per the merge page, you need to fix the plugins so you do have that order before doing the merge.

Yeah but this polarising 'good vs evil' thing is playing out almost everywhere now. We have it here in Australia, too. I don't have a solution for it, I really don't. If I did I'd be a rich man, I'm sure.
  17. You could always try the BethINI tool and/or a save game cleaner. BethINI: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/69787/? this will do all the suggested STEP/SRLE changes and has the added advantage of cleaning up the ini files and putting them in a more logical order. There's several save game cleaners. You'd likely be best searching Nexus for those. I've not used any of them to suggest one.
  18. Just edit the merge in Merge Plugins and remove the ---> part. The ++++ is just there to show that it's a merge when looking at the left pane. You can use anything you like, within reason. Just not a '>' symbol.
  19. I tend to do those in the order of Bashed Patch, other Skyproc stuff, ASIS, DSR. The other thing I just noticed: is that actually the order your mods appear in, ie your Load Order, or just your Mod List, which often gets presented in alphabetical order like that? Cause if that's your actual load order you probably should be sorting it with LOOT too.
  20. Just update SKSE first and see if that sorts it out. If not, the go through slowly, adding mods in blocks. Like all the UI ones, see if it runs, etc etc. There's also things like save gave cleaners that might help, but use it as a last resort.
  21. Few things I'd try: 1) Go to steam and try to validate the game cache. 2) The SKSE fix isn't really needed any more with the Crash Fix mod. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/72725/? Try downloading and installing that, following the directions on the page. Does STEAM and all that seem to load up OK otherwise? There's also a possibility that if you still have old versions of mods, they may not run on the newest version of Skyrim either. You could try updating some mods and seeing how you go as well.

I saw this and was half expecting to see an edit so didn't mention it. Still got a good giggle.
  23. With the merges, no, just do one at a time. The program actually closes after each one anyway. Don't touch the left pane order, just move the ESP's in the right pane. The extra ESP's and left pane mods should be overwritten by the merged esp, but it's always best for cleanliness to go to the mods the esp's are from and just move them to optional esp's via MO. Do this so that when you DO do the Mod Order step at the end, you dont have heaps of esp's at the end of the load order.
