I also got a BSOD using alpha 14. I started the dynamic lod generation (I'm using open cities so object was already done), it froze near the start, and then BSOD Clock Watchdog Timeout. Didn't generate any logs, and worked fine when I ran it again.

For some reason this version causes " [REFR:0005D2BE] WRCastleMainBuilding01 " to disapear (changes it's Z to -30000.000000, but doesn't set its enable to opposite of player). I am using it with open cities which my be part of the problem, though I have never had this happen with any pre 3.00 version. I haven't noticed any other problems, and the grass and tree objects work amazingly

Cool new thing, the JIP NVSE plugin now allows a FalloutCustom.ini file to be used with New Vegas, to override settings in the default ini files. It works exactly like FO4 apparently https://www.nexusmods.com/newvegas/mods/58277/?

He had open permissions to rehost them. I'll probably include them in my NV Book of Steel. Not sure about Fo3, but someone could rehost that

That's correct. NVSR is the one you don't want to use -

Don't use heap replacement. It causes cell change crahses -

The performance guide is a good resource. The pinned comment on the AWOP page is probably the best resource. The hand bug is 100% the fps management in NVSR. -

I meant regular RWL. RWLE was still way better than Nevada Skies and Project Reality, even in its older buggier state. It's was far less buggy than either of them -

Probably not, TTW has to be finished first (within the month most likely). You can use project reality, though there is nothing wrong with regular RWLE -

Mojave Arsenal isn't compatible with CaliberX. PushButton also is really offended whenever anyone asks him about compatibility, or the possibility that his mods might be crashing people's games, despite pretty widespread reports. Not sure if they are a great fit. -
Try it. It wouldn't be related to WEP then. I assumed it worked before you installed WEP
-
No, the NV one. The FO3 one will not edit the varmint rifle. If the varmint rifle is broken, you installed the NV WEP, after WRP
-
You're using WRP and WEP at the same time? Can't do that. You CAN use it, if you let WRP overwrite WEP.

You're not going to get anywhere arguing with them. I've wasted far too much time at that over the past months trying. A quick glance at Arthmoor's posts on the matter show he doesn't have an honest bone in his body (he keeps saying Mator called him a terrorist, that I said he killed puppies, etc.). The only way we win is preventing the influence of the MA forums from spreading elsewhere. The less mod authors who think it is acceptable (or better yet nessecary) to file DMCA's and spend there time trying to tear down other people's work, the better.

A question about plugin limits
darthbdaman replied to Dr_Herbert_West's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
It's not worth risking it. It is believed, that the closer you are to the plugin limit (which is due to a bug in how NV starts counting plugins), the more likely those inactive plugins will screw you. It might not be true, but there isn't any real point to leaving a bunch of inactive plugins, if it's true. -
A question about plugin limits
darthbdaman replied to Dr_Herbert_West's topic in Fear & Loathing in New Vegas
You shouldn't have inactive plugins in your data folder. They are counted to an extent, and will mess things up There are mod merging utilities. I don't personally endorse them, but some people on this forum will likely help you out -

I can discuss and change anything in YGT. Just list out your problems and I can either defend them, or remove them if I agree. I will change stuff if the changes can be justified The coin Icon is a mistake as far as I know. The quantum can be justified due to Bethesda's inconsistency in Fo3, though it is still up for removal if the case can be made -

I updated Book of Steel to remove the Tesla armor, and get ready for TTW 3.0. You'll just want to remove the Tesla armor texture that used to be required. It's not needed now obviously Sorry you have to update the guide again :) -

Roy was fixing PN. It's the headshot monitor that does it, but PN in general is pretty poorly made compared to modern standards. JSaywer has its own problems though Uncut 6 remastered is already part of the GitHub. I wouldn't recommend messing with it, it's pretty different from the old uncut versions. I converted streetlights before (it's really quick and easy), but you couldn't release it, far too many permissions needed
