1. What site? Nexus? STEP Wiki? ENBseries? Post a link to it please.
2. Delete all you ENB files and follow our guide. This is the last time I'm going to say it. You've installed the ENB wrong. Which ENB are you using and I'll check it out myself?
3. My game has frozen several times too. I've had to do the same thing and when that didn't work I've had to hard restart the system. I've defragged and completely cleaned up my system. Same issue. Just happens at random places, but has only happen on the loading screens for me.
4. Your directory should look something like this: You're a very stubborn person aren't you? Use the Guide! If you're not going to take our advice there is nothing we can do for you.
5. You've messed your ENB install up. It looks like you've just used the files from Boris and nothing else. Please follow our ENB Guide for proper installation. Following it step-by-step will get you up and running properly.
6. I've been capturing as a play. I'll be make a gallery soon enough.
7. We can help you out if you want it. You'll just have to go the extra mile. Post your INIs, launcher and video card settings, your mod list, and tell us what ENB you are using. Put spoiler tags before and after the content:
content content content
8. You must be running different mods then STEP. cuz I run STEP mods + skse + ENB and it doesn't look good at all. With STEP mods, skse, and ENB I see about a 1% increase in graphics. You're definitely not doing something right if you're not getting these same results, because that is pure STEP with ENB. Hey MontyMM, which ENB are you using that our friend here can check into. Looks similar to The Wilds...are you using a lighting mod too MontyMM? I use SkyRealism with the Cinematic preset and have been using Realistic Lighting Overhaul as well.
9. Where did you read that? :> As i said: I recommend STEP because has lots of recommended mods for beginners, that's all. I didn't say i only used the mods from that guide, i wrote a small list with more mods but as i also said, i have around 1000 mods and i change/mix the mods for almost each screenshot so you can't get the same aspect as ALL my screenshot with only ONE MIX OF MODS. So read STEP, try some mods from my list and make your own mix. PD: i've just registered because i saw many visits from this thread to my blog :P Thanks =) I'll only release the grass mod and enb preset with some tweaked weathers, but when they're finished. There isn't nothing special on them, as ive stated, there are some similar grass mods and "my" ENB preset is only Opethefeldt's one with some minor tweak. I know :P , i usually read this forum because as i said, i get some visitors from here but i can't answer all the questions from every web/forum that uses my screenshots and that's why i wrote "Skyrim Mods" for my blog. Some people try to mod Skyrim like i do and they think i only use the mods from STEP or the mods from my list, i know my english sucks (im spanish) but i tried to explain it many times and i don't know why some don't understand me. You are not paying attention. I asked for you do read the entire thread. Unreal, himself, has addressed your issues. Enough said. @MontyMM Awesome shots! I reposted so you wouldn't miss it!

11. Do you not realize that Skyrim's engine was built on Windows XP era technology? You're not going to have a beautiful, glamorous game like you get with newer games. As JudgementJay said, that's as good as you're going to get. If you don't like it, you should consider moving on from Skyrim and wait for Elder Scrolls VI to come out.
12. If you think it looks like crap, then by all means don't use STEP. Our 3200+ endorsements and 153,000+ unique downloads would disagree with you. However, if you see that it's better than vanilla Skyrim, then STEP is doing it's job. If you haven't, you need to read this entire thread as we have suggested several things that would improve the look of your game. Turning up settings, installing an ENB, using a lighting mod, etc. If you say these shots, which are from my setup with 2.2.1, look like crap, then I think you are playing the wrong game or need some more experience in modding.
13. STEP isn't using TPC in the next release that is being tested right now. With that said, your texture choices are generally well respected around here so you keep doing what you do best!
14. No insight really, but I will tell you that the 2.2.1 version will be a bit more taxing than 2.2.0a. In 2.2.0a I was getting an average of around 35 FPS. With 2.2.1, it's closer to 30 FPS on the same hardware and setup.
15. Wiki page of 2.2.1 is still Work In Progress and contains more recent updates, however bear in mind it is WIP. Current official release is 2.2.0a - i.e. the PDF version you have.Ok, so despite the strength of the wording in the PDF, am I taking this too literally? Is a vanilla fps of 50 no longer considered necessary, as long as the game is stable and running at a "reasonable" frame rate prior to modding? This is correct and this wording was removed from the 2.2.1 guide. The next release is being tested in-game now and it's fairly locked down if you want to use it but don't post Troubleshooting threads asking for help if you do. It's been established that these threads will be ignored until the 2.2.1 release is official. Keep in mind that 2.2.1 is a work in progress and as such some things could change at any time.
16. Yep, that just comes with the territory of modding. Got to do what you got to do, to solve your issues.
17. I don't know where you came up with 50 FPS being the magic number, but STEP doesn't have any FPS requirement. Typically anything consistently over 30 FPS is good. As long as you're happy with it and you're not getting any stutter then play away at whatever framerate you like. I'm getting ~30-35 FPS myself.
18. I've been using it, but have only run into one of the caretakers. No issues thus far.
19. No I don't use SMAA. The blurriness is from the ENB; most likely the bloom.
20. RCRN has no FPS hits unless you're on an old system. Look here. I've been a RCRN user (combined with SkyRealism) since I've been modding. I've tried all of the major lighting/weather mods and RCRN was my winner every time. With that said, I've been testing both RCRN and Realistic Lighting Overall (RLO) with 2.2.1. I have a few complaints about both... RCRN is great at natural lighting; however, I don't like how it thickens some interior fogs (Dragonsreach) and it hazes distant views with what looks like more fog in certain exterior lighting. RLO, I'm been fairly impressed with so far. It fixes the fog issues that RCRN has; however, has a few of it's own faults. One being some of he lighting from some fires/lanters is too yellow (this could be the combination of the ENB though; I haven't tested that yet) and the other is during certain exterior lighting (cloudy for example) the whole exterior lighting is dimmed. This is just a bit weird because it doesn't feel "cloudy" but rather just "muted" lighting. I should note that this is caused by the old 3.5 weathers though. I'm hoping they fix this muted exterior lighting when they get the new weathers up. I've only been testing for a few hours, but thus far I'm leaning more towards RLO beating out RCRN. More testing is needed though. EDIT: I wanted to share this shot with you guys: RLO only >> SkyRealism Cinematic with RLO The second shot with SkyRealism is just stunning to me and it looks even better in-game.
21. Found another one but I can't seem to track this one down. It's on the side of the path leading up to Bleak Falls Borrow before you get to the tower with the banits. EDIT: On second look, it's possible it's suppose to look like that.
22. Yeah, the forums have really gotten quite since we said, "TEST IT!" Since then... *crickets*
23. New texture for you guys to track down. I'm assuming it is one of the ground textures in one of the big texture mods but I'm not sure...I'll attempt to track it down. I found two problem textures in Serious HD but it's not this issue above: (rocks01.dds and rocksedgetrim01.dds) EDIT: Found it... it's tundrarocks01.dds in Serious HD
24. Sweet! I think I'll be using this after testing is done!
25. Most of the Sky and Effect textures seem to be processed incorrectly. I've simply gotten to where I skip them and re-add the unprocessed textures after DDSopt does it's magic.
