Use imgur and post the gallery here. SGSSAA would be best if you don't use an ENB. It still works with ENB, but Reflections and SSAO gets disabled this way. So if you don't mind not having reflections and you use hardware ambient occlusion, you can grab the latest ENB, enable SSAO in Control Panel and set SGSSAA to 4x. Mind you, the performance impact will be very noticeable if you do it the right way. SMAA is the superior way of post-processing AA and that's the one that should be recommended for most users. It's even better than the game's MSAA due to anti-aliasing of transparent textures. I agree. Sparse Grid Super Sampling Antialiasing (SGSSAA) is great. So what I'll be trying at least, is: Skyrealism with 1.44 if possible, 1.39 or even 1.19 if the other's don't work well. Enable SSAO through ENB (if Nvidia CP doesn't support, dunno whether it's better to enable it through the CP if it does support, though o_O), use SMAA, RLO and get COT working. The latter only conflicts with Immersive Skyrim thunder doesn't it? If that doesn't bring me down to 40 FPS I'll be happy :D Mind you, besidilo, since I have great respect for your knowledge about hardware: I currently use my "old" GTX 570 (see signature) along with my brandspanking new GTX 680. Does it make sense to set the 570 to PhysX only, or should I leave it to the driver to decide what to do with the 570? I can set PhysX to select automatically between the gpus or choose that the 570 takes PhysX alone and I can restrict the 570 to do PhysX only... I only recommend using v0.139 with SkyRealism unless you know what you're doing. Using a newer version can sometimes screw things up because it's not as simple as just popping in a newer version of the DLL. nVidia Inspector and nVidia Control Panel change the same things, but Inspector has many more options. Also, I'm not sure if it's still the case, but in order to make SSAO work from the driver level, you have to set iBlurDeferredShadowMask to 0 in SkyrimPrefs.ini. Setting iBlurDeferredShadowMask to 0 may result in shadow stripping even with an ENB. You can try this and experiment but during my testing anything lower than 2 resulted in stripping. Lowing this value only results in sharper shadow edges which is a bit unrealistic for most flora shadows. EDIT: I can't move these or I would. Further discussion on this should be done elsewhere. ENB Guide thread or create a new thread in Skyrim Related.

Updated OP, Wrye Bash Guide needs some attention as well.

As far as I know you can still use it without, I think performance wise it might be the better choice then hardware AA.Atleast thats my experience, not sure tho, if anyone else thinks diffirent please say so :) Hardware AA combined with Transparency AA will get you the best quality; however, SMAA is more performance friendly as Toshaka stated. Hush your mouth... Hand over the video card slowly and no one will get hurt! :P

Tree problem in clean STEP install
TechAngel85 replied to YuMMz's question in General Skyrim LE Support
I would be curious to know whether or not the others that are having/had this issue are using NMM or not. STEP has stated not to use it due to it's lack of control over the installation of mods regarding mod overwrites and conflicts. This could very well be the cause of the issue (limitation of NMM). -
Tree problem in clean STEP install
TechAngel85 replied to YuMMz's question in General Skyrim LE Support
It's not TPC. Did a full TPC install today over a vanilla Skyrim and there were no issues. As far as I know, the ESPs simply tell the game where to place flora/diverse trees; meaning you can run SFO without them. You just won't get all the placements. I can run without the ESP with all textures and meshes install with no issues. I've tried using part of the meshes, every combo of disabling the ESPs, different load orders, etc... Nothing I do reproduces the messed up trees. I get some swaying trees but nothing unusual...just part of the game. Looks very natural in the wind. All this only leads me to believe it's just an improper SFO installation. Jay, are you getting any of these problems too? -

TechAngel85 replied to YuMMz's question in General Skyrim LE Support
There should be 9 meshes that you remove to remove the diverse trees according to Vurt. If you follow the wild cards that would be 9 meshes: treeaspen01treeaspen03treepineforest01treepineforest03treepineforest04treepineforest05treepineforestdead02treepineforestdead04treepineforestsnowl02I've tested and I have no problems with or without these meshes or with or without the SFO - Expanded Diversity.esp activated. Not having this activated causes some patches of flora to not be added; like the new lupen fields. I have the Diversity ESP loaded right after the main ESP...no issues. WB is installing this just fine. I have attempted to reproduce this issue and can't which leads me to think it's either an issue with TPC or incorrect load order of the ESP files. -

Yours looks really good. Wish my machine could handle that. :) -

I just finished testing the newest v1.76b. The same problem exists with the diverse trees while using ENB. It's not a big deal as they're easy to disable for ENB users. SkyRealism - Cinematic v.139 was used with Realistic Lighting Overhaul. -

Thanks for the update. I just finished testing the new v1.76b and didn't have the problems. I'll mark it as solved. -
I'm pretty sure this Farlo character is a gnome and gnomes are tricky little creatures!

Are you using the newest v1.76b? He says to remove the sfo.esp if you still have it installed in this version. He also removed an "experimental" tree from it. I'll download it because I need to test it anyway. -

Looks like you're missing something...mesh maybe or ESPs like JudgmentJay mentioned. Those trees look terrible...they're all flat. lol! -
Weapon in Right Hand Disappearing
TechAngel85 replied to Tagkaman's question in General Skyrim LE Support
The description page mentions version 1.4 of RaceMenu which has fixes for the weapon disappearing and, it looks like, the problems with Apachii Hair and switching between male and female races that Neovalen mentioned as well as other improvements and fixes. It says the updated version is written but awaits SKSE 1.6.7 .I seen that but there's no news on when that will be released on the SKSE website. -

This is a default feature in Skyrim. I have no idea if you can turn it off or not. :( I've never had an issue with it since it adds realism to the game. -

I've brought this issue to the admin's attention over on the Changelog thread. It'll be dealt with one way or another. If the fix will be out soon, then it'll we'll probably just wait on it. And thanks! I had no idea my posts were that high! -
Have you defragged your skyrim install as well?

I have confirmed this issue as reproducible: Rece Menu On >> Race Menu Off Come to think of it...I noticed this the other day in third person but didn't think anything of it at the time. -

I edited your post. When you post an image you should use the Image Button on the editor. It seems like RaceMenu is causing some unusual errors as of late. It also has issues with ApachiiHair (not in STEP). Thanks for the heads up. If this issues is reported by anyone else we'll discuss it's inclusion in STEP until it's fixed. -
Farlo has been really busy with school. I'll see him pop on for 10-15 mins then gone again.

We are testing it right now. I've not had or seen this issue. Are you running pure STEP and can you post a screenshot of the issue? -
You're right to a degree. STEP actually includes most of the same mods TPC does. However, the main difference (for now) is that STEP's textures aren't hand picked from each mod, but you will have similar results whether you use STEP or TPC for the main textures.

DROPPED Skyrim Flora Overhaul (by vurt)
TechAngel85 replied to JudgmentJay's topic in Skyrim LE Mods
I'm not sure which versions they are...you've been updating so often it's hard to keep track. :P I know that the first is one version and the second is another version (maybe an update of the same version). I'll update in a bit and see how they look and check performance. -
I happen to be using ApachiiSky hair as well, though I had heard of any issues...haven't really looking into it though either. Even though the hairs are ported from The Sims 2, I still love them. The thick, blocky vanilla hairstyles just don't do it for me. I'll look into it.
