  1. No, but now I'm really eager to! Too bad it's midnight here, and I'm off to bed :p
  2. I used SkyRe for quite a long time and I've never been disarmed so far. Neither did I ever disarm anyone, let alone by using a crossbow (which is my ranged weapon of choice for this playthrough).
  3. My thoughts EXACTLY, Will, maybe apart from switching to Intel, as I'm quite happy with my AMD.
  4. No worries, I was just implying that you'd probably get faster resolution if you had provided that list :)
  5. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52757/? Wow. Just wow.
  6. Well, asking "Which of my mods done this" and not providing a list of mods that you use is not a very good idea... ;)
  7. Check this out guys! https://lifehacker.com/build-a-new-pc-or-upgrade-your-current-one-today-on-a-1558520286 Thre's also a list of all the parts on sale on LH website.
  8. Skyrim Performance Plus is what I use as well, and IMHO it's enough. These are such a small details, that they're barely noticable in game. This mod is an unnecessary overkill, even with 512x512 I think. Even for screen archery.
  9. I was actually thinking about this as well. I like the idea.
  10. I'm not quite sure I like a smelter in Jorrvaskr area. I have a feeling that Piano is overdoing "Dawn of..." series a little. It's becoming a little too much. Not to mention that my FPS is killed when I enter Whiterun now. Looking from the gate towards Bannered Mare, I get below 20 FPS, which is ridiculous, considering I get above 30 everywhere else, and just below (28-29) in most intensive areas like Riften etc. Considering removing this from my playthrough...
  11. https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/10573/? I really don't know why this mod was not recommended yet! I used to use it in my previous playthroughs and loved it! And I'm definitely going to use it again, just awaiting a new version to be uploaded (see below). [spoiler=Redundant]This mod adds 2 camping kits to the game, Standard and Imperial (the latter one being more compact): [spoiler=Standard Kit contents] 1) Two Bedrolls (One for you, one Extra)2) A Tent (you can even enter this tent by activating it to be indoors)a) A barrel inside the tent where you can configure your tent (click barrel to see the menu). This is YOUR barrel items will not disappear. The barrel contains some books to read and also Weaponblack, an inky black substance you smear on your weapons to improve your chances of hiding.3) Campfire (can be ignired and doused for some Roleplaying fun)4) Darkfire - Darkfire is a magical fire that emits heat but no light. Useful for scouts deep in enemy territory, or those who want to avoidbeing seen. You can convert your regular campfire into darkfire by activating the campfire.4) Cooking pot5) 3 Compact Camping Chairs6) 7 Leather Screens or Partitions 7) An Animal Pelt (makes the ground more comfortable)8) 2 Horse Tethering Posts (they don't actually tether horses through scripts, but you can place one on each side of your horse).9) A fishing rack10) An alchemy stand11) A tanning rack12) Barricades - useful if you want to fortify your position.13) The ability to create flat terrain around your campsite. [spoiler=Imperial Kit contents] 1) Two Bedrolls2) A smaller tent3) A campfire (and darkfire)4) Cooking Pot (Smaller)5) TWo compact camping chairs6) 3 Leather Screens7) The ability to create flat terrain around your campsite. It's an excellent addition to Frostfall (hear me, RAGS' team?) and if you have followers, it's much better suited than the Frostfall's small, 1-person tents. The reason for this is that CKOTNR's tent is very large and you can fit multiple bedrolls inside. And, in fact, the inside is a separate interior! Awesome! In addition, after you set the camp in the wilds, it gets it's own map marker, so you'll always know where it is and can use it as a semi-permanent base for your voyages. I've never had any problems with this mod and I have recently contacted the author and provided him with a cleaned version of the ESP (there were couple of wild edits and some leftovers from the previous versions of the mod) , which will be used in the next release (Tek mentioned some new "realism settings", quite excited to see what they'll be!). At the moment you can buy both kit from the Riverwood trader, but perhaps they could be added to some some levelled lists in the future, so that they're available in the wider range of mechants' inventories. Maybe some Imperial soldiers could carry the Imperial kits etc. Overall, it's a great, well executed mod that adds a new dimension to camping in the woods and I would highly recommend it for anyone that plays with Frostfall or for ranger type characters. ::EDIT:: New Version 2.2:
  12. Ok, let me start then :) My mod build is based on STEP:Extended, however I have many extra mods installed and I use Aiyen's Skylight ENB. 1. Dragon Bridge 2. Good Thalmor is a dead Thalmor! 3. Faendal 4. That's what happens to fanatics claiming that Fjoldvik is a false Dragonborn! 5. Fjoldvik
  13. All and sundry, you're more than welcome to to show off your beautiful, modded Skyrim screenshots in this thread! Gallery rules: Please use JPG/JPEG image format (2 MB max)NSFW content is not allowed under ANY circumstances.

  15. As my tracked mods list on Skyrim Nexus grew way too large to keep track of all the mods I wanted to keep track of, I decided to clean it up a bit. Basically, I was tracking all the mods I was interested in testing, checking out later or using in some later playthroughs. I decided to move all the mods that I am not currently using to Quip notepad and thus Roots Rat's Mod Library was created! There are over 250 items on the list at the moment, but it will be obviously growing as I discover new mods that I'd like to remember of, but not necessarily want them on my tracking list. Some of the mods on this list are well known and some are probably not as popular, but I think everyone will find something they've never heard of or seen before, but forgot about :) Welcome to Roots Rat's Skyrim Mod Library!
  16. Hah, no problem! Enjoy your modding :)
  17. This has just been uploaded to Nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52669/? - you may be interested guys
  18. Sorry, I'm not sure what are you referring to. There are no instructions regarding installing vanilla Skyrim and DLC's in any particular order. They just get installed in one go into one, single directory. There can't be any order, as there is only 1 item to install. There are no overwriting files. If the hard copy installation is different (i.e. each DLC is on a separate disk), then install them in the order of the DLC's coming out: Skyrim, Dawnguard, Hearthfire, Dragonborn, HiRes DLC.
  19. Vanilla Skyrim and DLC don't need a specific installation order. They're all getting installed into a single Skyrim folder.
  20. Well, this is from the mod description: This scenario shows that the shout functionality is broken. So, yeah, logically thinking, it should not be alerting the guards. Like Gand said, it's supposed to be a 'sneak shout'.
  21. I've just remembered about this mod, seems like a great fix! Shall we consider this for inclusion in STEP?
  22. Is a patch possible at all, from technical point of view?
  23. I second all the above posts :)
  24. If the performance impact is near zero than I think you shouldn't. IMHO the amount of people with PCs that would be affected is very small and you would spend your time on something that wouldn't benefit many people.
  25. Interesting. I have never really seen any of the glitches you describe. The only bug that I get, and it's really annoying one, is a dead dragon stalking me. Sometimes I am able to disable the corpse via console, but most of the times the command doesn't work on it and I am unable to get rid of it. It's quite immersion breaking! Other than that though, I've never had any problems with DCO.
