  1. It depends on whether or not the mods you have left out are masters for the patch. Have a look in TES5Edit - load up the patch then expand it (+ sign) then click on "File Header" and have a look at the list if one or some of the mods that you didn't install are on that list then you will have a little editing to do. Highly improbable that they will be though. If not then you are good to go.
  2. Absolutely, Vividian is frequently updated, I tried it mainly because all of those plugins load next to each other so I was curious to see if they would merge well as placement of the new output file would be fairly obvious. I managed to get SR:LE with a full REGS install down to about 171 plugins active and all working with a quick high speed flight around Skyrim - build is very stable.
  3. Seem to have successfully merged the CoT plugins and the Vervidan plugins together and called it something like SR Weather Patch. Also ELE plugins seem to merge quite happily if you want to save another 4 plugins.
  4. RND is obsolete now in SR:LE iNeed and it's lack of patching requirements as well as ease of use is now in the guide instead.
  5. Works fine for me.
  6. Do you have the Requiem patches for those mods - CCOR and ETAC? Might solve the problem, if you do and they don't then it might be worth bringing it up with the patch authors.
  7. Revamped exterior fogs do look great but they are included in the weather patch so not needed. Morning fogs is worth having though. You can still use revamped Ext. if you load it after The Cot WP. But if you are short of plugin room then don't use it as it as not needed.
  8. It's a regular for me. It works as intended in that you have the dialogue option as described and your followers sneak with you and wont blow your cover. Very useful in tougher games when you need a little help from the band so to speak (or sneak). I have had no problems with it whatsoever.
  9. I have merged all of those without problems, TTR you only install the trees that are not covered by Stealth skills, smithing and enchanting -then you merge all the plugins except destruction, one handed and speech (as described in the guide) then set it to load in the same place as the other TTR files in BUM. CCOR patches merge well but again only do the patches the ones that load in the Compatibility patches section. As for Better Quest Objectives the patch for the Thieves guild doesn't seem to like being merged sp I leave it out. Generally I only merge plugins from the same mod and that BOSS generally sorts together. If I get an error message I re-try but excluding the plagin that had the message indicated. e.g. BetterQuestObjectives-ThievesGuildRequirementsPatch.esp. Hope this helps.
  10. I Use Opera, recently tried working with IE and Chrome but they just don't cut it. Still had no problems with the file though.
  11. The picture shown is orange which is not missing masters is just means that the master files are not in the order that the patch expects. Easy to fix - open the file in TES5Edit then right click on the file and then left click on "Sort masters" in the drop down menu - then close TES5Edit and save your file, making sure the left hand check box at the bottom (about making copies) is left unchecked (not the check box next to the file you just fixed of course).
  12. I don't know what to say, I just tried the link and downloaded the file no problems - you need to hit the smaller blue button lower down on the page.
  13. I removed the distant folder from Realistic wolves which contains the files that overwrite AOS, and so now I get the arguably better distant howls from AOS with the sounds from RW - the best of both worlds.
  14. All of those mods are compatible with CCO, you need to add in the modified esps from the CCO site for those mods. You do need to install patches for RND and several other mods, just download the RND patch pack and tick all of the mods that you have. These patches merge together well. Some of the problems you mention could be due to a faulty install. It would be something to perhaps ask the author but I believe he/she is no longer working on the mod which is probably one of the reasons people are moving to iNeed as it does not require patching. The naked thing is a common blip, I am using STEP at present without anything else and still occasionally get a nude character but like you say it is rare - there is an in-game fix, but have never used it so can't remember what it is or where on this site I read it. 101 Bugs has no scripts so you can most probably uninstall it safely just do a clean save, inside preferably a vanilla player home or similar save - exit game remove 101 bugs - restart game and load save, save again then reload that save - that is I believe the well known safest way to remove a program. Hope this helps,
  15. Hi, link does still work just tried it. I would suggest either editing the STEP patch or using the 2.2.9 version and add in the missing mods, all should be compatible.
  16. You have misread my post. I was in no way criticizing the pack or have I said that it is the same as Requiem only that Requiem seems to cover a lot of the same ground. ASIS works with Requiem, SPERG, SkyRe and resplendent racials are alternatives to what Requiem already does maybe better maybe not but obviously incompatible, because they all do the same thing. Anyone would think that Requiem poked you in the eye or something. I have been following this pack since before you came on board and I really like what it is trying to do and as I said above I am installing it to give it try, and considering how time consuming that is, you would think that it is not hard to spot the compliments in my original post. I know you don't like Requiem but I have yet to see a good point from yourself against it. I know that Requiem has a debateable flaw in that as you get above level 50 or so it becomes easier and easier, but that is part of a deliberate design, what would be the point in levelling up if all your fights are going to be the same difficulty, conversely why should you be able to kill a pack of wolves with a sword or bandits when you have not trained with such weapons, only racial variables give you any ability on the assumption that you have had some practice growing up (that is an as yet not available mod idea). Anyway my post was not about Requiem but your misreading of it demanded a response - which I have given - with respect.
  17. Just a quickie. In the SkyRe install section you have the Unofficial Skyrim Redone Patch and in that the instructions say to install the SkyRe_Crafting Fix, except that that is not one of the fixes on offer in that mod or indeed on the updated version of that mod which is on a different site. Is this an error or am I missing something. Currently have STEP Extended, REGS and the GSRP recommended mods from this pack. Naturally am needing to do quite a bit of merging to get this to fit, should be possible though. That said a great deal of this pack is covered by Requiem - but I am keen to give this a try to see in what ways it can improve on what Requiem does or whether it is just another way of adding a similar level of difficulty for a lot more effort. I am sure that it is not the latter as why would you have gone to all the trouble to build this if it wasn't worth it. So I am looking forwards to seeing this work (assuming I can get it to work I can be a klutz at times).
  18. Yup 3DNPCs is Interesting NPCs, if you check the main plugin for that mod you will find that that is the name.
  19. RND needs to be after Requiem but the RND Requiem Patch should make sure that the right items are in the list. SR Conflict resolution should not be a problem but you probably might want to check for problems with exporting stats etc.. in the bashed patch, I have found in the past not doing that made steel much stronger than ebony etc.. I would try not having anything more than levelled lists and merged patches selected when you build your bashed patch. Requiem already deals with crime distance and game speed, so you don't need the tweaks.
  20. There is a discussion going on about this very topic but yes you should unpack them.
  21. All changes required for STEP Extended are included in the guide, as are patches. I mainly suggested Core as a start because it will be more stable if you are new to modding or not familiar with the tools. If you are then great. But if not then the more ambitious you are then the greater the risk of running into problems. All links given above will serve you for Extended as well so just follow the instructions as given and you should be good to go. Get yourself the memory patch as is described in the mods section of this forum as you will need it as well as the ENB memory management tool all of which is detailed in the STEP guide.
  22. I would install STEP Core, then my Survival Pack, then the "Weather and Lighting" pack which also includes instructions for ENB, I would suggest RealVision to start and if it cuts into your fps too much than try the performance version included in the download. When you have all of these working you will have a great looking Skyrim. Then add the Requiem pack. You will need to start a new game to use Requiem and you will get an amazing Skyrim experience compared to vanilla. Of course there are other mods that work well with Requiem but get the basic packs up and running from a STEP Core base and you can get a feel of how it is working for you and if you need anything else in the game. You could add STEP Extended, which does work but needs a little more tweaking. Instructions for getting these packs working together are included in the packs where appropriate so follow all of it carefully, ask questions if you need to, I'm always open to feedback and keen to make improvements to the guide - when I have time. There are of course other packs to try from other authors and they are really good too but I know that mine work well together so I can confidently advise you to use them first, based on your description of what you are looking for in your game. STEP Core - LINK Survival Pack - LINK Weather and Lighting Pack - LINK Requiem Pack - LINK All the best,
  23. Atlas Map Markers, ELE interior lighting, High Level enemies, Relighting Skyrim, RND are the ones off the top of my head will give a more detailed answer at another time as will be out of touch till the weekend. Probably best to continue this in a separate post or pm as it is now completely off topic for this thread.
  24. At first look, that seems to be a rather elegant solution. Hide the feature so that only those into advanced modding are likely to want to find it and can therefore be directed to some kind of agreement that they would have to check a box to show that they understand the ramifications of BSA extraction and accept responsibility for doing so, such information being provided as a prerequisite for checking the box. Like a warranty agreement. Once done the feature becomes activated. Good idea CJ.
  25. I have it at BOTTOM Base E Seems to be fine there and works as it is supposed to.
