  1. Tried it out and well that was really hard to do - so much easier to unpack each folder one by one and rearrange the whole mod's interior file structure - now I have to go through the laborious process of of selecting "Install STEP recommended Folders" and pressing install. Wait a minute I may possibly have gotten that the wrong way round, sarcasm anyone? Great job Tech
  2. Your grass setting at 30 might have something to do with it, set too low it can cause a drain on resources "iMinGrassSize=30" this setting is not included in SR:LE AFAIK so try removing it or increasing the number and see if it helps.
  3. Thanks for that you extraordinarily splendid fellow.
  4. Oh and by the way I'm glad it is all working for you, Skyrim with Requiem is indeed another game entirely and a huge improvement.
  5. Requiem changes all the perk trees so any mods that alter those would be a problem, I'm thinking of Stealth Skills Rebalanced and her Smithing one in particular - Azirok and Kryptopyr are in communication so possibly more compatibility down the line but I am only guessing the last part. Her choices mod is compatible but you need to enable Sven and Faendar as followers in the Requiem MCM for full compatibility.
  6. Dual wield parrying is a must and is included in STEP Extended I use it without issues.
  7. They already work with CORE and Extended and SR:LE without any extra patching, but of course if you bring in more stuff from outside of STEP / SR then you start to get into trouble. Have a go with the Base Requiem Pack installed on top of STEP CORE or SR:LE (you will need to add patches for IW, CCO, SIC, Falskaar, Wyrmstooth AFAICR if you use SR and make sure DD loads after Requiem.esp). Works well. But the Guide could be a lot better and more complete and detailed and that is the first aim of this new version of the Requiem Pack.
  8. Hi folks, Spock and I have been discussing building a full Requiem pack with built in compatibility to CORE, Extended and SR:LE. This will replace current Requiem packs currently published. As well as compatibility with these main builds we want to be able to be compatible with some key packs such as Explorer's guide, War Ensemble, Survival, Weather and Lighting packs as well as currently non existing packs such as Werewolf and Vampire pack (may as well call it Dawnguard pack). I have begun the wiki page but would like to hear any input or suggestions for this pack in this thread. It will take time to build this pack but much of the work and testing has already been done or is at least ongoing, but we would really benefit from your own experiences as far more people are using Requiem these days so lots of useful tip, trick and or bugs must be out there to help make this pack as complete as possible. All the best EDIT: The pack is now live but unfinished. It has more detail that the base Requiem pack as far as mods to add go and mods to change or remove and will work as is. I need to wait for Spock to get some time before doing more on load order and patches. I have not added much for SR:LE yet though I may add the modlist soon. We want to get the STEP part working solidly and patched first. EDIT 2: Pack is mostly finished as far as STEP and SR:LE goes. Other pack integration is of course still a WIP. Lots of great discussions and testing going on especially with respect to REGS. I will be building up my Survival pack and then adding in instructions on this site. Weather and Lighting is already compatible but cell edits from mods such as ELFX, RLO etc.. potentially provide compatibility problems with Requiem and this is a key area for development. SR:LE as is has it's own survival and lighting sections but is not complete yet, Requiem does complete it in a Requiem y way (not the way Neo is going to go) and the two work well together but you will still run into problems potentially in some cells but generally the game runs great. 9. Yes it is compatible, but there are a number of mods that are not needed from STEP core. If you use MO (recommended) then it is easy to remove or disable those mods. Incidentally when vampires attack and run for your lives can be made compatible by disabling dragon fear and enabling random vampire attacks in the Requiem MCM. More and more patches are being made available for other mods as mentioned above. Requiem changes so many things in the game that to use other mods that affect similar things then patches are needed. But remember this pack is approved as is for STEP core. That said the GDO patch is now probably useful and should be refereed to in the guide. Trade and Barter is not activated in the STEP guide so no patch is needed, AOS and WAF have patches available so should also be mentioned in the guide. I will sort this as soon as I have time. Thanks for feedback.
  10. Great stuff when people team up to do things like this it all becomes so much more possible to really bring Skyrim alive. Thanks for all the effort so far.
  11. Incidentally guys are you still planning on the quest side of your pack? If so will you be including the Fight Against the Thalmor series as CJ has fined tuned the plugins for that? I'm looking at a pack based around Sands of Time and another on Vampires and werewolves both of which there is a lot of good info on as well as great playability. I had been planning a pack based on new territories but you have taken care of that far more convincingly than I would have managed, the additional quests idea looked really promising. I realise how much work is involved in these things so I would not be surprised if you have the second part of REGS on hold for now.
  12. The problem with the SRCR patch is that it constantly being updated. I re-built it last week and already there are many more changes. I'm not doing it again for a while. I will wait until SR is closer to completion before re-building, then again I may do it again anyway, it only takes an hour to do. P.S. incidentally as far as using the merge tool in MO goes you don't need to re-type the mod title every time as there is a drop down menu at the title field.
  13. I dare say that Resources.esm provides a master file that helps the plugins allocate textures and meshes amongst other things. Using an esm is often a good way to improve compatibility. In version 2 the resources are found in the 00 Core folder and as such are integral to the install. All the other files contain various plugins and patches to work with and compliment the install as a whole but may also be dependent on what choices you make in the fomod.
  14. Hey Neo, I was just wondering what frame rate you are getting with SR:LE. I am testing a pure install of the guide so nothing else added. I am currently getting 30 - 40 indoors and 20 - 30 outdoors which gets to its lowest near water, seems low.Vividian seems a tad too bright at night and indoors but some of this may change with ELE coming in.Anyway just curious to know what fps I should be expecting before looking into it too deeply.
  15. ELE - Interior Lighting v0.0.4 - is the one that you want. :)
  16. It is am effective measure to reduce the strain on your card, are you using the ENBoost fix? This maximises your PC's ability to handle graphic improvements in Skyrim. If you are then reducing the size of all exterior textures to 1024 and interiors to 2048 max should be useful to you and help reduce any strain. If not then add it in to your set up. :)
  17. YeeHaa! Aiyen strikes again - good spot sport. :)
  18. At first glance I can't see anything that would prevent CoT from working are all esp and the esm file active? :)
  19. Nope, you don't have to use it. Just levelled lists is the main one. :)
  20. Yes you should, Just tick levelled lists and merge mods but nothing else and you should be good to go. :)
  21. Please post load order so we can assist. :)
  22. Yes and Yes I should say. Especially as you are adding more equipment to the game. :)
  23. Ah - splendid stuff. :)
  24. Cool - I have replied to your PM. I notice you advise removal of the solitude docks esp, is that what caused some of the compatibility issues or did it mainly unpack the bsa? :)
  25. Yeah I know it has nothing to do with this pack, probably something in my Skyrim folder or similar. My base core profile crashed out as well. Sorry if I implied it might have anything to do with your work, just my frustration coming out along with wanting to see all the new stuff. :)
