  1. I wouldn't waste your money on an i7 at this point you could wind up spending more for it than a new CPU. i5 is plenty for just about everything I can think of unless you're doing some video editing. 8GB is plenty as well unless you're doing RAM intensive works such as Maya. Most games don't really use much in the way of CPU but mostly use GPU and the majority still only use 2 cores.
  2. Nice. Does it show anyone inside if you know there is someone supposed to e in there? I doubt it as it'd probably increase the overhead similar to open world houses.
  3. The information for the channel is in the last post on the Unofficial Chatroom thread. You can find it in my signature.
  4. I'd have to check but I think SR:LE has a link to a custom Relighting Skyrim for ELFX. I know Aiyen used to use a customized version of Relighting Skyrim with ELFX but I do not know if that is still the case. Edit: Yeah here's the link.
  5. I think you're most likely right about it being the lighting mods. I don't think it's ETaC (since the place you mention is in the vanilla game) but I could be wrong. I remember there being a bug about things adding light sources similar to what you describe but for dungeons (I'd have to find it). I don't know if there is a way to fix it beyond not using them or editing the mods themselves. perhaps JawZ, Aiyen or Neovalen could help you more. I am not in a position to get at my Skyrim machine right now.
  6. Because... it's not that good compared to Immersive Armors? It adds a lot of similar weapons, that just clutter up the list. Jaysus Swords and a few other weapon mods (and a few packs) are much better.
  7. I can log the conversation if need be. I have a bouncer which will record the conversation even if I don't have my client open to the channel at the time. I'll post the connection details (in a bit) in the Unofficial Chatroom thread for you guys to use once you have a client set up.
  8. It would first help if you told us what archive it was and what version of MO you are using.
  9. Well I wasn't going to set one up if they didn't want one. Just let me know. Tech you can get in the chatroom now so just get on and ask if you guys decide you want a separate chatroom.
  10. Yeah it'd be no problem to just set one up for you guys. I just wouldn't bother setting up the protections like I did on the current chatroom (OPs can't be kicked, only registered users, etc.) if that'd be helpful for you.
  11. We'd be happy to have you though I would suggest you use a client like Hexchat and edit the amount it logs just so you could keep up with the chat scroll back.
  12. Uninstalling a lot of mods is almost always a bad idea if you wish to keep a save. I'd say make a new character. This will also help you narrow down whether or not it's some mod or such that you removed etc. that is lingering causing the CTD's. Which in general if you are using ENBoost features as well as the memory patch via SKSE should be almost gone.
  13. Fireundubh I'm sure if you asked; someone could help you make a plugin to achieve at least some of the functionality you're wanting. Tannin is maintaining Mod Organizer on his own time, with little to no help so adding one more thing for him to do is a bit much to ask, since the rest of the functionality works just fine for everyone else. Uh... ninja'd.
  14. The SKSE version seems to work just fine for me I'd say not add another recommendation since that'd just be one more thing to download and keep up with unless the SKSE version is genuinely broken in some way.
  15. It works because No More Blocky Faces only overwrites the face files for Mature Skin.
  16. Have you tried doing what tech and I suggested? Please do so as especially after that graph I'm wondering if it's a hardware issue.
  17. Have you tried removing all of the mods and seeing if it gets better at vanilla? If it does get better; it's likely a mod, if not I'd say it's hardware.
  18. TBH I don't think you'll find much up to date on SkyRe the only guide I know of is outdated it's Iroha's SkyRe guide. I expect people will be working on PerMa guide any time now. https://forum.step-project.com/topic/1957-installing-asis-and-skyre-with-some-additional-stuff/
  19. Or you could just not update.
  20. So, even with only alternate start and no other mods you're getting it? You tried a fresh save?
  21. So long as you drag them into the order they are listed in the guide; it doesn't matter what order you install them in.
  22. However using 4k textures will seriously eat up VRAM so don't even bother with 4k unless you have a minimum of 4GB VRAM on your graphics card.
  23. Odd. I missed the second link (used to having people insert their images via the insert image button). Not quite sure what your issue is. I doubt it'll do anything (as I'm shooting in the dark until I can get to my desktop) but what is your FOV setting in your skyrimprefs.ini in Mod Organizer? Also I notice in one of your screenshots that Unknown Enchants is updating itself; are you looking at Whiterun right after you start a game? If so wait for Unknown Enchants (the thing that says tagging in your left hand corner (as well as any other mods you have that are updating)
