  1. I would like to ask if you have a red triangle on the STEP core patch in MO?
  2. The notification you saw was for a beta version of MO. Tannin will not let it update to a beta version, only release versions.
  3. I have pointed it to LOOT and did not see any ill effects. I use SUM with LOOT right now.
  4. As promised here is a procedure on how to use nxmhandler.exe to allow NMM to work along side MO. Please be aware that I consider this a hack. This may not be the way Tannin intended NXMhandler.exe to be used and as such may break something else. Also the functionality of nxmhandler.exe may change in future versions of MO and may render this information useless. When first run, Mod Organizer sets up an association with the NXM link in Nexus network to handle the download with manager button on the Nexus network. This association unfortunately is all encompassing and steals the association from Nexus Mod Manager. Mod organizer only supports Oblivion, Fallout 3, Fallout NV and Skyrim while Nexus Mod manager supports more games. If you are using Nexus mod manager to manage other games that MO does not support you cannot use the download with manager button as it is associated with MO. The solution to this problem is provide in the ModOrganizer folder in the form of a program called nxmhandler.exe. This little program will allow you to associate another mod organizer to handle nxm links alongside mod Organizer. To set up an association to another game and another mod organizer do the following: Navigate to the ModOrganizer folder and look for nxmhandler.exe. Double click on it to run the program. In the nxm handler window you should see all the associations assigned to Mod Organizer. In a blank area of the window, right click and select Add. This will open a new window with a supported games box and a file browser button.Select “Other†from the supported games section.Press the button to open the file browser and navigate to the new client that will handle this association. Nexus mod manager for example. Some-path/Nexus Mod Manager/NexusClient.exe and click open. You will be returned to the add dialog. Click OK to close the Add dialogYou should now have an entry with “other†as the supported game and the path to NexusClient.exe.Now we need to determine the name of the game to associate with NMM.Navigate to the Nexus network game list. Scroll to the name of the game you want to use and click on the link. When the home page of the game you want to use is loaded, look at the URL in the browser address field. At the end of the URL there will be the name of the game. An example for Dargon Age 2 would be https://www.nexusmods.com/dragonage2. We are interested in the last part, dragonage2. Highlight it and copy it to the Windows clip board.Go back to the nxmhandler window and double click on “other†in the supported games section. This will allow you to edit the name. Delete “other†and paste the contents of the clipboard in its place. You should now have dragonage2 as the game and the path to NMM. Click close to finish. You should now have an association to Dragon Age 2 that will work alongside what is associated with Mod Organizer. If you need to associate multiple games to NMM you can just find the name of the game in the URL as described above and run nxmhandler.exe again. Double click on the supported game entry that point to NMM and add it to the name. Separate the names with a comma. This last one is untested, but when investigating this my results suggest that this is to be true.
  5. Thanks for getting back with the information. I will write up a procedure and post it here and on the wiki.
  6. Each profile in MO contains its own set of ini files. So if you copied them from the old laptop to the new one then it is going to use the old values. You can run the launcher from the active profile and set the resolution there or you can edit slyrimprefs.ini iSize H and iSize W. iSize H=1080iSize W=1920
  7. I think I have found the answer to this. I don't have any of the dragons age games, but I got it to work with State of Decay. Look in the url of the home page of the game you want to use for the name of the game. In the case of dragon age it will be nexusmods.com/dragonage. Change other to dragonage in the nxm handler. State of decay was stateofdecay. Dragon Age 2 would be dragonage2 Try this and report back.
  8. You may have the mod list sorted by name. The easiest way to keep it clear is to click the priority column header so that zero is at the top. Whichever mod that occupies slot one will have the lowest priority. Any mod installed after will have a higher priority.
  9. Clicking install will install the mod OK. Due to the mod isolation in MO it is not seeing the skse scripts.
  10. I have successfully torture tested the early releases of LOOT with a custom FNV and TTW load order. I was pleasantly surprised with the results. I only had to specify the FO3 masters to be in the proper load order. One observation is that when I run Wrye I see a lot of mods with masters have been reordered message. I wait until I am finished modding and go through them and sort the masters. If I don't and add more mods then I seem to have to do it all over again if the new mods change the order a lot.
  11. I was just finalizing my my new Sykrim load order and decided to create a bashed patch. At the end I got a window with Wrye errors in it, which I dismissed. When I selected OK Wrye wanted to enable the bashed patch and disabled all my ESPs and ESMs. Running Wrye a second time did not with the created BP did not produce any errors on start or rebuilding the patch.
  12. Bugs and feature requests can be researched and submitted at the Mod Organizer issue tracker.
  13. I just did some testing and if either ini files are missing, MO will copy the ones from the default location to the profile when you switch to it.
  14. When you start up WRYE Bash do you get any error messages about any plugins? I had a bad skyproc esp from an aborted run and even though it was disabled WRYE would try to enable mods and just about everything would get disabled and my load order would change. When I removed the bad esp WRYE ran fine.
  15. I had a chance to use SUM and it finished without problem. Marked assolved
  16. I have it working now. I did a powerful uninstall with iobit uninstaller and ran ccleaner after. I installed java again and rebooted. I ran ASIS as a test and it ran and closed as it should. It would appear that my last java install got corrupted somehow. Funny thing is I had reinstalled it about a week ago for an unrelated problem. Go figure.
  17. Yes, all three do the same thing when run by themselves.
  18. With careful practice and adherence to process the sync to mods feature can be used effectively in MO. I run each skyproc patcher individually and create a mod from the output. I also do this for WRYE bash and in fallout with TESEdit. With the exception of TESEdit, which will not let you make a Merged patch when there is one already there, most files will sync back to the original output mods I created. Due to the way skyproc creates or make or moves files, not all the files will sync back. The ones left over are usually the ones that are needed for the next run and remembering settings. I adopted the practice of deleting what is left over after syncing and treating any subsequent runs as a first run. In my testing most of the third party tools do that for the ESPs anyway and I do not see any problems related to it. This can only be seen in MO when you when you have the ESP in a mod of its own and the next time the tool is run it will be in the overwrite folder and the output mod will show as being redundant.
  19. Looking for some input for a java / skyproc / MO problem. Here is what is happening, I am using these three skyproc patchers, asis, npcenchant and Dual sheath redux. Each one is run by itself. When run the patcher finishes but MO won’t close. I have to start Windows task manager and end the Java platform SE binary process for the patcher. If I use SUM it will run ASIS and the ASIS window will close, but the SUM window will stay on “Running ASIA†forever. If I end the ASIS process I get an ASIS error and if I end the SUM process everything ends. I have the latest version of java, version 7 update 51, and the latest version of MO. I have uninstalled all old versions of java and reinstalled v7 u51 and the problem returned. I have been away from Skyrim for a while, but I don’t think I had this problem when I stopped playing and I think I had the current version of MO at that time. It is not a big problem as I like to run each one and make a mod out of the output anyway. I just would like to have the process end when it should. Any input would be appreciated.
  20. My two cents. I have been away from skyrim for a while and decided to return in the past week. So I am redoing my setup. I just installed RCRC following Guide to install RCRN AE with Mod Organizer. I have to say after running RCRN via the procedure outlined that the sync to mods function will sync all of the files to the RCRC mod each and every time. I would start there and investigate how this is done and if it can be done in Skyproc.
  21. Can you tell us what is happening here? You can run all of these and let the output go into the overwrite folder. When finished right click the overwrite folder and select create mod. MO will move all the contents to the new mod. Enable the new mod and you will be good to go. You can also run one at a time and after each one right click the overwrite folder and create a mod from the overwrite folder. Run the next one and do the same and so on. Enable each new mod at the end. This will allow you finer control over the output of each one. To stop the skyproc patchers asking for BOSS just put -noboss in the arguments line.
  22. Skyui will give that warning no matter what. It is OK to install the mod. The contents of the NCC downgrade go into the NCC folder in the ModOrganizer directory.
  23. Just my two cents on this. IMPO = Installed Mod Priority Order. The mods in the left pane with assets, textures, scripts and so on. PLO = Plugin Load Order. The load order of the ESMs and ESPs as determined by the user or an external program. The overwrite folder is a challenge as its application and use is not well defined. According to the UI help it states “This pseudo mod contains files from the virtual data tree that gets modified (ie by the construction kit)â€. My suggestion would be something along the lines of VDF, Variable data folder. With instructions as to make a mod from it.
  24. Thanks for the reply back. The expected behavior is as follows: When you download a file it should be "Done". When you install that file it changes to "Installed". If you uninstall the mod (using "remove mod") the last archive installed for that mod changes to uninstalled. This is from the issue tracker Bug report #499, which has a status of closed, not a bug, unable to reproduce. It appears you found a problem in the current version of MO. I encourage you to report this in the issue tracker for consideration by Tannin. Include as much information as possible and a list of mods which are affected.
  25. If you go to settings, workarounds tab and uncheck "Force-enable game files" that will let you deactivate the game core files.
