  1. So far, I am not seeing the fading issue with 2.70. Thanks! Will do some more extensive testing later tonight.
  2. Can't edit my post... the posts in MLOS don't have any collision, per the MLOS description page..... Maybe setting the flag in DynDOLOD causes an issue? Although, I see it as more of a MLOS problem. Not sure why Mathy97 made them that way.
  3. I disabled everything, including .dlls. All I loaded was MLOS, DynDOLOD, SKSE64, and LAL (to skip Helgen).
  4. FYI, the problem persisted when I tested a new game with only MLOS and DynDOLOD loaded.
  5. I don't believe the issue is on the DynDOLOD side. This is the only mod I use that behaves this way. Thanks for the tips.
  6. Update: I loaded a profile with only ML, DynDOLOD, and LAL (so I can skip Helgen) installed. Unfortunately the fading issued remained. So, I feel that I am on fairly solid ground in saying that right now DynDOLOD and ML does need some sort of patch/fix. My temp solution is to run DynDOLOD without ML installed and to install ML afterwards.
  7. So I regenerated DynDOLOD without ML and then added back ML to my LO. Works fine now. If I can figure why ML doesn't play nice with DynDOLOD, I will let you know.
  8. Thank you. Good idea about waiting 24 hours.
  9. The issue seems specific to ML. Could also be specific to my load order. But I don't see any obvious conflicts. I will do some more testing. Thanks for the help. Active Mod Files:
  10. Yes. That is exactly what happens. The screenshot does say "Base Last Changed by: DynDOLO.esp". Thanks.
  11. See the screenshot. Semi-transparent lamp posts. One more update. If I load ML AFTER DynDOLOD, the error goes away. But obviously this is not the preferred solution.
  12. See screenshot. I have no idea. I let mathy79 know, as well. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3os6flt8xi6w91c/SkyrimSE%202019-08-06%2010-58-50-72.jpg?dl=0
  13. Thanks. Missed the faq. I removed the offending mod until I can fix it and notify the mod author.
  14. Maybe already addressed and I missed it. With 2.64. Thanks.
  15. Looks really really good to me.
  16. Honestly, if I was running 500+ mods (that in itself is quite a feat!), I would leave well enough alone, unless you intend to start a new game.
  17. @Vanders, two thoughts: I had an issue that sounds similar to a problem that I was having, start reading here: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/13029-dyndolod-244-skyrim-sevr-beta/?view=findpost&p=224308Continuation of above (jumped to another thread):https://forum.step-project.com/topic/13451-xlodgen-terrain-lod-beta-for-fnv-fo3-fo4-fo4vr-tes5-sse-tes5vr/page-18?do=findComment&comment=225787or could be related to this issue: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/6314?
  18. You could do that. But, as I said 2.7 did not trigger the Trojan warning but 2.7.1 did, for me. So, I would take a look at your code to see what changed that is causing this before doing anything drastic.
  19. Something changed from 2.7. I didn't get the (false) warning/quarantine message for 2.7.
  20. McAfee quaratines it, too. Previous versions did not have this issue for me.
  21. I am running with LOD 4 and my highest vram usage was about 6.6 gig overall. I have a GTX 1070.
  22. I am actually having no issues. That's why I was asking. Hence the question of why even use billboards. Thought maybe I should be struggling! LOL! Haven't tested the whole map. But the wooded areas around Riverwood are fine. FPS is 40-50ish with no hitching. My rig is somewhat current (Nvidia GTX 1070 (8 gig vram), AMD 8350, 24 gig DDR3, SSD). It took roughly 25 minutes to complete DynDOLOD generation.
  23. I was doing some experimenting and tried instead of using billboards to let DynDOLOD generate its own LOD for the trees. I double clicked on the trees entry and changed the values for LOD 8 and LOD 16 from "billboard" into LOD 8 - "LOD 8" and LOD 16 - "LOD 16". Seemed to work and look excellent. So, the question is: what is going on here? I thought billboards were needed? Or is DynoLODGEN generating its own billboards and if so, why bother with custom ones? Thanks!
