I am not sure if this is user error or not, but I don't see BSHeartland.esm available to choose/not choose using v3.xx
-
Bruma question with DynDOLOD v.3xx. Do these instructions still apply? Thanks.
-
What I do is much simpler: unpack the BSA that come with QWM as loose files and let them overwrite whatever is generated by xLODGEN using either Vortex or MO2.
-
Thanks. I misinterpreted what you said. So basically, 0=off, 1=on. No other settings possible.
-
Does this imply that you can set grass to be generated for the higher LOD levels, as well?
-
Curious as to what exactly was wrong with your load order. Vortex really should have nothing to do with it. This might help others if they knew exactly what you fixed. Thansk.

Just confirming PRieST's findings.

Not what I expected. All I can say for sure is that this didn't happen with alpha 3.22. 3.23 3.22
-
Yes. Here is the .ini.
-
An issue cropped up with alpha 3.23. Wasn't present with 3.22.
-
Thanks! That's what I was asking.
-
No it changed. I noticed that the .ini files that used to go in "\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\" folder are now outside of it in the root installation folder.

Hey, Sheson. I noticed at some point that you started to pack DynDOLOD 3.xx differently. Does it matter? And if so, what is the correct file structure? Thanks.
-
Thanks.
-
Not sure what is going on here, with alpha 14. But the log doesn't show any apparent error.
-
@kojak747, I assume that you are using Myrkvior for your trees. Should we use the settings on the description page or different settings for DynDOLOD 3.0? Thanks.
-
Thanks, sheson. After running, with 3.5, it looks pretty good.
-
*can't edit my above comment* Also, I seem to be getting a lot of overwritten large reference warnings. I don't recall seeing these in 2.87. Is this normal?
-
With alpha3.5. Ran fine with 2.87. I realize that I can fix it. But the point is that 3.x behaves differently than 2.87.
-
Cool! Do we want to set "ExtendGrassDistance = True" in the NGIO config file? Thanks.

Agreed. I have been trying to find a balance between using the updated Wrye with DynDOLOD. I will keep the fixed version and now head over to their discord to remind them that these changes still need to be added to the official version.

I have been disabling my BASH patch before running DynDOLOD. But the fixed version is a better solution.

Yes. If the giants' fire pit was my only consideration, I probably would have lowered it further. But where it is at, seem to work OK for other lights
