STEP v2.2.9.2 has been released on the STEP Community Wiki!

Be sure to check out this release's changelog for all the changes which were made.

With this release, STEP highly recommends starting a new game due to several major mods being introduced. The largest mods to be introduced were the Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch (USLEEP) and Immersive Citizens - AI Overhaul. Immersive Citizens is a very large mod in that it edits nearly all NPCs in the game to be more immersive in their actions. USLEEP brings with it major changes in STEP and the mods within. The individual Unofficial Patches are removed and several mods are updated to support USLEEP. It's for these reasons STEP is recommending a new game with this release. This would be an excellent opportunity to ensure all your mods are up-to-date and ready for a fresh start. Particularly mods like FNIS, Dual Shealth Redux, and DynDOLOD.

With this release also come other changes. New INI tweaks have been added and old ones corrected and a new STEP Compilation has been assembled to help ease the STEP install process. The Compilation includes the STEP Patches and new mod compilations wrapped up in a FOMOD installer. The mod compilations are collections of mods which STEP put together to help reduce number of mods needed to download for the STEP Guide. A new installer now available should help to eliminate some of the confuse around which STEP Patch users are able to install.

I've been out with serious internet connection issues lately, which is why you haven't seen me posting here.

The news of this release motivated me to push through so I could post a congrats, and let you all know that this is my final excuse/motivation to purchase Dawnguard.  I'm looking forward to being able to post some feedback on how 2.2.9.2 goes on my end!

Cheers!

Finally an excuse to delete my less-than-a-week-old installation of 2.2.9.1. again (already killed it with too many post-STEP mods and too little testing ^^), finally USLEEP integration that makes additional mods easier to install and, as it looks, finally a shorter modlist with less required esp files.

Looking forward to install it, I'm gonna provide the first benchmarks in a few hours I guess! :D

Congratulations on the release!

I'm sure the compilation will be helpful in many ways for both users and the STEP team, but for those of us with all of the incorporated compilation mods already individually installed, could you please make the STEP patches available separately?

Here you go. It's just the patches and readme. https://copy.com/ypk4J4zC7jpn7026

Only use one.

I just did a fairly large update to the Guide. Particularly, I updated a bunch of mod pages to to use templates rather than text, added install instructions to most of the pages where the mod was not packaged incorrectly, and corrected a few things here and there. I had been working on this over the course of a few days and have now updated the changelog with all changes. See the top under, "Post-Release Changes".

Hopefully this will make the mod pages have a more consistent look and feel, as well as help newer users install some mods where it might not have been exactly clear how or what to install before.
