SRLE Extended

1. this could be because of College days - Winterhold and the fact you and not the correct level to continue on the the college of Winterhold quest line.

or

2. It could be a conflict that i need to fix in the CR.

Edit: Tt doesn't look like a conflict in xEdit.

I'm more inclined to believe it is related to #1.  Go talk to the greedy entreprenuer at the gate or sitting on the bench just inside to your left.

ok everyone who is having issues do the dreadflopps merge you can remove CACO_Immersive_Creatures_Patch_ lvl_list.esp. You now just need to make sure CACO_SkyrimImmersiveCreatures+DLC2_Patch.esp is the last plugin in the CACO Patches merged hopefull that will sort that level list issue out.

I believe you're right. Now off to another issue (Sorry!), my follower is knocked out and wont wake up. I've tried with healing hands which has always worked before but he wont wake up and when i wait 3 hours in game he still wont wake up. If i do leaders teleport he teleports to me but is laying flat on the ground. What can i do ? If i open the console and do the command resurrect he awakes but naked without his gear.

That sounds like something that should change in the base guide too, as CACO_USLEEP comes after the SIC-DLC2 patch in that merge.

So now well and truly into play testing stage.  Seems pretty stable for now, only occasional crashes I'm having are due to maxing out on VRAM rather than errors or conflicts.  I have unsurprisingly had to tweak the papyrus ini settings (within safe levels) to get my script latency down to an acceptable average and I have followed every bit of advice re maximising performance particulary on Win 10 (Park Control, CleanMEM, kill background processes, Timer Resolution, ini tweaks, etc) but I am amazed at how well it is running, averaging 40+ FPS in most areas, only dropping when loading new cells or lots of NPC activity.  I've dropped a few superfluous mods (including the dovahxxx mods!) and removed the EBT plugins so textures only.  I've settled on NVLA with Rudy ENB and it is simply stunning, and like I said I can't quite believe the performance I'm getting on my MOR machine.  Anyway, here's a taste of it:

I do have a couple of questions.

As I've never used DSR or swords on back before how do I get the swords to appear on my back?  The unsheath/sheath animations in 3rd person are for sword/shield on back but the sword actually shows on my left hip (1st person animations show drawing from left hip).  What should I be checking?

I have a weird bug in RaceMenu when I am trying to name my character in that as I type any a's and e's jump to the start of the name, for example if I am trying to type Kai it becomes aiK.  Not a major problem as my usual character name is Isyuul which types fine, just wondered if anyone new of this issue and if there is a fix for it?  I have tried reinstalling RaceMenu and it's plugins and none of them are merged at all.

As for DSR/XPMSE Dunc, follow the set up settings for XPMSE in SRLE Base, I believe there is a bug/limitation that wont allow you to equip a sword and shield on your back together, (you can equip two swords, two daggers, etc but not a shield and a weapon on your back at the same time) but you can play with the shield settings in XPMSE just to make sure if I'm right or wrong on that one.

I once had a similar problem as yours in race menu, but it wouldn't let me type certain letters.  The only way I got it fixed was to reinstall Race Menu.

Hope this helps.

ENB particle patch is included in the VW/Vividian install iirc, so if you're not using that then yes. Not sure about the parallax.

No...Particle patch comes with vividian and the project parrallax is for the remastered version

Just to be clear, I was meaning the FOMOD compatibility options in the One Mountain installer. The reason I ask is because as Dunc mentions, the particle patch is included in Vividian, which we use. We also use Project Parallax.

It mentions Project Parallax Remastered, but the meshes are the same in Remastered vs. Revived. Only the textures are different. This is why we have to hide the same meshes in both (the instructions never changed when the mod was changed).

But that makes me wonder as well, simply because we hide meshes for Project Parallax...so would ticking compatibility for it be the correct thing? Also, we have everything overriding the ENB particle patch, but it is pretty low in the FOMOD options. I'm not sure if it might override some of the other options if you do tick that...

OK, update: I checked out the FOMOD installer because this was bugging me.

1) So none of the meshes we hide in Project Parallax are included in One Mountain. Therefore, I think it would be best to tick the option for it.

2) The only thing that the Particle Patch option for One Mountain installs is:

  • meshes\architecture\whiterun\wreffects\wrrapidrocks01.nif (Vivid Weathers Merge currently wins this in my SR:LE-based profile)
  • meshes\effects\fxrapidsrocks01.nif (Vivid Landscapes currently wins this in my SR:LE-based profile)
Now...One Mountain installs the same number of files regardless of whether these two options are added to the current SR:LE Extended options or not. It just would install different versions of the meshes for some of them.

Therefore, I would recommend that the SR:LE Extended FOMOD options for One Mountain be changed to include both of these compatibility options. We'll see what Darth says though.

My brain hurts now.
