SRLE Extended

Recommended Posts

hey all you wonderful people would anyone object if we moved all the Photos from the MCM Menu Setting Section and the new (be be created) FoMod Section to something like flicker?

Is there any specific reason for the move? Issues with posting them or such like? It would be good to have everything here in STEP without the need to view anything in another window/browser tab.

they will be kept on steps as requested:

also been doing some testing it is recommended the following files from 360 walk and run plus can be removed from both the males and female animations folders:

mt_runBackward.HkX

mt_runBackwardLeft.HkX

mt_runBackwardRight.HkX

mt_walkBackward.HkX

mt_walkBackwardLeft.HkX

mt_walkBackwardRight.HkX

doing this will allow for flowing capes while walk or running forwards but you wont turn 360 when walking backwards. (unless you want that)

also if you havn't voted of darth straw poll things here the link https://strawpoll.me/6456645

I have taken a load of FoMod screenshots I will get Darth check and to upload them later when he get home (he is going to love me, now to actually studying on my study day)

In SRLE we install the 'SRO optional' from Project Parallax Remastered, but since you use Noble Skyrim Mod HD do you still have to? PPR doesn't have a NSM-HD optional file. I'm not entirely sure how to combine these two mods, or maybe it doesn't really matter.

Edit: I should probably read the first post in its entirety before asking something. You stated there you used the Project Parallax HD2K 1-3 optional (which I assume is meant for Skyrim HD 2k). Is there any reason you used that instead of the main file (which is apparently meant for vanilla and Serious HD textures)? Do you see any oddities with the current optional file you're using?

Edit 2: Found this

Install Noble Skyrim after this mod, but if Noble Skyrim doesn't have it's own parallax maps, things might look weird.

So yeah.. I guess I'll just install it after PPR and see what happens :p

The main reason I Chose Project Parallax HD2K 1-3 is I was using HD2K texture pack before I tried out noble skyrim and perfed it. I just never changed the parallax option.

I am not fully sure if we even need Project Parallax remastered anymore since there now a noble skyrim parallax patch I dont know enough about parallax but since there are 20 non conflicting files in

Project Parallax Remastered I just left it in and let Noble Skyrim HD Parallax Patch overwrite Project Parallax remastered.

If someone who knows more then me can confirm if we do and dont need Project Parallax Remastered that would be awesome.

Ah, I had not seen this Project Parallax Revived yet! Its requirements do not mention PP Remastered.. Hm.

Also, SRO still covers some files that are not covered by Noble Skyrim, did you leave SRO enabled?

I do not use SRO (Skyrim Realistic Overhaul) at all cos  of the fact it requires a working torrent site and sky my provider seems to block them all and I gave up looking

You might want to take a look at this. Have not confirmed it is 100% safe and working though. It's also probably not the optimized version used in SRLE.

Anyway, the current order for me is Skyrim Realistic Overhaul - Project Parallax Remastered (SRLE configuration) - Noble Skyrim Mod HD (+SMIM patch) - Project Parallax Revived (NSM-HD version).

I also put NSM-HD right after aMidianBorn Caves and Mines & Solstheim Landscape in SRLE's load order, but other than that I let mods like Vivid Landscapes overwrite it. Let's see how it looks ::D:

thanks but I been using noble skyrim happliy for over a year now so I'll stick with that.

to be brutally honest I cant even see a difference in parallax and non parallax textures (maybe beause i don't know what i am looking for)

i'll install the SRLE SRO verion of Project parallax and see if there is a big difference when i eventually get home

As I am looking through mods, I found a couple items to submit for consideration:

Couple items I believe fit in the Fixes Category:

https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/38400/?tab=4&&navtag=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.nexusmods.com%2Fskyrim%2Fajax%2Fcomments%2F%3Fmod_id%3D38400%26page%3D1%26sort%3DDESC%26pid%3D0%26thread_id%3D1037688&pUp=1

Overwritten by Cloaks of Skyrim if I understand correctly, so will need sorting after.

I never play without this hotkey helmet toggle.

An enhancement for Faalskaar that fits with the current wildlife embellishments (not sure how the FPS hit is, should be fine, no scripts)
