I discovered the source of the mishmash in the script and then I get rid of the problems......called something like console extensions

Do i need to start a new game with this guide?  Or can I install it and keep playing with my current run-through?

You can install it at any point, including after completing the main quest. Couple of mods would be useless (Triss outfit for example), but in general everything should be working perfectly fine :)

I just saw the 1.10 patch list, and it seems like it's touching on several things the mods in your list use.  I'm kind of leery to install it till the patch drops and you update this. :)

DO NOT UPDATE THE GAME TO VERSION 1.10.0

 

Warning: Game version 1.10.0 introduced a bug that prevents some mods from this guide from working. Under investigation.

Most people appear to be having issues due to 1) having mods installed, 2) Problem with a DLC (they merged them into one instead of 16 this patch) including New Game + game mode.

 

I personally did a clean install and had no issues loading my game/saves besides a slight graphical glitch with the settings menu "Low Medium High Ultra" being corrupted. Mileage may vary of course.

 

I have not re-installed ANY mods until they are updated specifically for this release. Graphic icons in alchemy menu and oils etc have changed, therefore ANY mods using those icons such as better icons enhanced or such will need to be updated.
