oqhansoloqo Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 Holidays by isoku https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/64820/ "Villages/cities will visually change as holidays based on TES lore come and go. NPCs will also react to these changes by attending various events appropriate for the holiday. If you'd like to experience the in-game holidays along with the real world, it is possible force any holiday, any day, for as long as you'd like through the MCM."
Octopuss Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 This must be pure hell from compatibility point of view. Even if you just use Cutting Room Floor and ETaC. Add maybe Interesting and Inconsequential NPCs, and... ew. I don't even want to imagine. The concept is awesome though.
oqhansoloqo Posted April 18, 2015 Author Posted April 18, 2015 (edited) Actually, this mod is highly compatible, unless you install mods that change the layout of settlements and buildings (like ETaC, but there are patches for that mod), which I don't. Edited April 18, 2015 by oqhansoloqo
Kelmych Posted April 18, 2015 Posted April 18, 2015 The Holidays mod is the followon to Wet and Cold Holidays . There weren't many compatibility problems, and there have been patches for a long time for the few that exist. The new mod reduces compatibility issues even further.
Shadriss Posted April 20, 2015 Posted April 20, 2015 Started running this, and as mentioned, no real issues. Includes it's own EtaC patch, and so long as you don't have anything that changes the inn interiors, I haven't seen anything that's an issue so far.
Hackfield Posted February 17, 2016 Posted February 17, 2016 Another necro, but another nice addition and I can't help to wonder why this was never considered for STEP (I'd guess extended) Especially when Bethesda did something similar to this in Fallout 4 (Diamond City is fully decorated during Christmas) I guess this mod is kind of script heavy during holidays? Also I'm not a lore scientist, but this mod seems to take the lore seriously, though, I believe santa's hats and halloween pumpkins are not so lore friendly... 1
