stoppingby4now Posted May 24, 2013 Posted May 24, 2013 I never thought about it in those terms, but statmonster stated it beautifully. I also play (well, when I did play) in 3rd person. It does have a more cinematic feel.
TechAngel85 Posted May 25, 2013 Posted May 25, 2013 I'm a 3rd person player too! I rarely go into 1st person for all the reasons that Stat said and more.
rootsrat Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I removed this mod from my list. Was having issues with it: - Ignore Corpses did not work, my char would still stare at dead bodies. Creepy! - No matter how small the distance setting in MCM, my char would still be twisting his neck to look at nearby NPC's, even if they were quite far away (definitely beyond the distance I set in MCM) It's buggy in my opinion. As for 1st/3rd person - I play in both really depending on my mood :) I prefer 1st person, as my game seems to perform a bit better (smoother) in 1st person though.
Freyrgjurd Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I use both. First person combat and sneaking, 3rd person exploring and interacting. It's dynamic and I think blends well with the game.
phazer11 Posted June 12, 2013 Posted June 12, 2013 I use both. First person combat and sneaking, 3rd person exploring and interacting. It's dynamic and I think blends well with the game.I play the same way. As far as the mod goes I agree with rootsrat it seems buggy at least with as many mods as we have; so it's possible we just have a mod conflict somewhere that is throwing spanners of confusion in the works.
TechAngel85 Posted June 13, 2013 Posted June 13, 2013 For proper mod testing, you can only have STEP Baseline installed and nothing else. If you have other mods installed, then that would defeat the purpose of testing for STEP as those other mods might conflict for you; whereas, they might not for anyone running pure STEP. This has been an issue with having proper Mod Testers as well. They always what to have these other mods installed, when they can't for a proper test environment. Switching profiles in MO doesn't work either because not all mod completely uninstall. Some leave some stuff behind. I have proof of that right now since I just uninstalled everything in WB to be able to properly update to 2.2.6 while also installing all the other mod updates that I've been neglecting.
Kudara Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Due to script memory limitations I was going to uninstall this mod, however I had the corrupted save issue even though I turned off the mod and then made a save before installing the mod. I ended up reinstalling the mod and turning it off in order to even be able to play that character again. Does anyone have an idea how exactly you successfully uninstall this mod?

rothbardian Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Is this mod compatible with STEP? Seems like it's vanilla Skyrim, just more immersive: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23600/?
TechAngel85 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Locking this thread. Please use the search before posting: https://forum.step-project.com/topic/724-player-headtracking/
TechAngel85 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Merging...Is this mod compatible with STEP? Seems like it's vanilla Skyrim, just more immersive: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/23600/?This has been tested as you can see since I've merged the threads. I've never really had an issue with it but others have so try it and see. :)
rothbardian Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 Sorry about the redundant post, TechAngel. I did try searching for Player Headtracking, but it wasn't in the first page of search results for some reason.
FuzzRocket9 Posted August 26, 2015 Posted August 26, 2015 The search bar here has always been trouble for me too. I find what I'm looking for, but always mixed in halfway through the first and second page.
Greg Posted August 27, 2015 Posted August 27, 2015 You can also search from Google by adding "site:forum.step-project.com" to search the STEP forums or "site:wiki.step-project.com" to search the wiki. So, to find player headtracking in the forums, enter this in Google's search textbox: player headtracking site:forum.step-project.com
