I'm surprised we don't have a thread for this. After seeing LeetMiniWheat mention Immersive Armors in the MOD-TESTING List thread, I wanted to provide my input.

I can't imagine many people don't know about this mod as it's extremely popular, but in case you don't, all it does is add really awesome-looking armor to the leveled lists (Can also be crafted). The mod also adds some of the sets to NPCs.

I really like it when coupled with Immersive Armors for NPCs, which (obviously) just adds the armors to some of the more important NPCs. It's nice seeing a larger variety of lore-friendly armors throughout Skyrim. It just makes sense to me for powerful NPCs to be wearing unique armor. The only thing I could see being an issue is that some of the armors feel slightly too powerful, but maybe that's just because I never do enchanting in my playthroughs.

I really like this mod, just wish it didn't clutter up my crafting windows at level 1... before I use it I'm going to have to do some major ESP editing in the crafting section.

I'm totally OCD when it comes to this sort of thing.

Immersive Weapons beta optional file added to Immersive Armors. Adds ~200 weapons from various weapon mods... some craftable, some on leveled lists, and some found at static locations. They've been balanced so as to not be overpowered as well.

You can see a list of the weapons added in the readme or in the mod comments.

Not sure if I'll use this as I feel like it might be a bit too much, but still worth checking out.

Wow he responded very quickly. I messaged him about it just a few days ago. I had created a comaptability patch of sorts and offered it to him but he turned it down.

On the immersive weapons front, probably going to pass. To many mods in that package that don't fit the game lore as far as I am concerned.

Not only are some (most?) of the weapons not lore-friendly, the textures also tend to be of poor quality. Either way, it doesn't belong in STEP.

Wow!!!! This is amazing.

I had not been a fan of immersive armor as I didn't like several of them and didn't want some. The new MCM system that allows you to choose which oens you want to appear on NPCs/Loot and/or to be craftable completely answers this. The MCM menu looks amazing and includes lot of customizability of crafting options.

Integrating it with Kryptopyr's CCO Redone might be tricky.

Given that it works with UNP (but not apparently UNPB) is perhaps a reason to consider moving to the UNP body.
