Nearox Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 (edited) Finally a mod that almost gets rid of the ugly seams that were due to UV in Windhelm! https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/56466/? The Fugly transition has been fixed (which was most noticeable in corner areas) plus I like the texture more than SRO or Asmodius' Windhelm. Edit: Not that this mod fixes the UV, it just makes it (much) less obvious. Download the Experimental version to see it. Edited July 29, 2014 by Nearox
phazer11 Posted July 29, 2014 Posted July 29, 2014 Not saying I like the vanilla or HDDLC look but that's ice on top of the brick, not, in fact a seam.
Aiyen Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 I think he refers to the mesh transition on the top of the image... not the ice. This is texture seams, not mesh seams. You got two textures where they do not blend nicely with each other and stand out way too much. Like snow and rocks etc.
Nearox Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) Not sure if we are talking about the same thing. This is an example of what I mean (pic is from Osmodius Windhelm textures pack) Edited July 30, 2014 by Nearox
DoYouEvenModBro Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 How would I use this with Osmodius Windhelm Textures? I thought his alternative ground texture already fixed this?
Nearox Posted July 30, 2014 Author Posted July 30, 2014 It does but then you have an earth texture as osmosis said (I requested him at the time ) that he cannot make/ find the time to make a fitting stonefloor texture which does not have the transition issue. This mod just provide a texture which makes the transition smoother and therefore you don't have to use only earth textures as that doesnt fit well with windhelm imho.
DoYouEvenModBro Posted July 30, 2014 Posted July 30, 2014 (edited) Oh ok. So simply overwrite Osmodius' mod with this mod? Also, there are two files. One says experimental? Edited July 30, 2014 by DoYouEvenModBro
