hyperionEXILEd Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50589/ A possible alternative or enhancement to Bandolier - Bags and Pouches "MOD DESCRIPTION:Add various functional bags and pouches (using Dragten meshes and textures) and other special containers. The bags can be opened, used to auto-sort and simplify your main inventory. They reduce the weight of items within by 20% (40% when the bag is worn) and finally, certain bags can be worn on the right side or swapped to the left side on the spot. The bag interaction menu can be hotkey-ed for convenience." - From Mod page
redirishlord Posted June 24, 2014 Posted June 24, 2014 Nice evolution to Bandoliers Bags and Pouches. Just installed it, crafted an ore bag, like it.
redirishlord Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 First impressions; nice evolution to Bandoliers Bags and Pouches. It apears to use the BB&P assets, but instead of simple +(some amount)lbs added carrying capacity the various items reduce the weight of their specified contents (ore bag: ore & ingots, trinket bag: jewelry, vial holder: potions, etc.) by 20% for your general inventory & an additional 20% for items stored in the bag (or other container). The containers are integrated with MCM, so once I made an apothecary's satchel and wore it (rendered left belt location, visible with iron armor although the carry strap clipped under the upper breastplate in a sufficiently immersive way) it appeared in the Functional Bags MCM. MCM integration allows for items to be transferred to the bag, which I will use when packing items for sale upon return to town or storage upon returning home since it isn't particularly immersive to dive into the MCM during "action". Meaning my Berserker potions will stay in general inventory for use when I go all "Tenser" on a foo' but my Potion of Strength will get stored in the bag with intent to sell at Belethor's.
Shadriss Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 So if I understand you correctly, Irish, the only access to these bags is via MCM? That would be an instant killer for me, personally, for the fact that I'd have to go through two or three seperate menus just to get to them. If that's incorrect, please, elaborate further, but if I'm right, I'd just as soon hold onto Bandolier...
redirishlord Posted July 12, 2014 Posted July 12, 2014 My last post was pretty elaborate, but you should spin off a test profile in MO and give the mod a try. If you don't like it, no permanent impact on your current save.
Glanzer Posted July 15, 2014 Posted July 15, 2014 I would like to find a mod with bags that don't need to be worn. I don't care about the carry weight I just need the organization. For example when gathering items for quests.
