This Steam sale is really hitting me hard. I can't decide if I have more games from Humble Bundles or Steam Sales that I will never play.

Can't recommend Arkam Asylum enough by the way. Love that game, originally it was GOFL, but I guess since that is gone Steam finally picked it up.

The Steam sale hasn't hurt me too badly yet only ~$30 the only real problem I have with playing other games is finding room for them which isn't exactly easy even with a 240GB SSD.

Postal 2 Complete is on sale for $3 dollars. I'd highly reccomend it, they recently had a really big update where they implemented a whole bunch of user mods to be official including A Week In Paradise, which is a mod that merges Postal 2 and Apocalypse weekend to be a new game. They added in a dozen or so new weapons and fixed tons of bugs. Steam workshop for mods was added, and they are currently working on a brand new DLC that will come out later this year. It's a lot of value for $3 bucks. Most of these changes save for Steam Workshop will be coming to the GOG version at some time in the future.

I would also like to throw in my support for the first two Batman: Arkham games. Arkham Asylum is very fun, and Arkham City is one of the few isntances of a sequel done right; they took every mechanic, improved on it in almost every conceivable way, and made the story larger and grander. I would highly recommend it. I don't know about Arkham Origins, though.

I went ahead and got Arkham Asylum but left Origins to the next sale. Reviews are pretty horrible about bugs.

You get it at $11.99?

I think every time System Shock 2 is on sale I mention it, so I won't break that streak. It's only $1.50 right now. Get it, get some of Vurt's mods for it, profit.

Thanks for the recommendation ESRB I'll have something to play next time I'm killing time in Linux.

I wouldn't say no if a certain insistent penguin took this opportunity to get me a certain strategy game he mentions every single time I talk to him on Steam... Cough cough.

I've heard good reviews here on the STEP forums and at websites that review games. I bought it from GOG yesterday since they had a good price (similar to the current Steam price); given a choice I prefer DRM-free. Steam and Humble Bundles sometimes have the franchise version which also includes the other Alan Wake game.

...that is, assuming I have enough money ATM to get it before the deal expires, which I do not. (XCOM: Enemy Unknown is playable now on Linux, however)
