@dread

Have you tried Mator Smash?

Haven't tested myself yet but it really sounds handy.

https://www.afkmods.com/index.php?/topic/4113-wip-mator-s

That script turned out really helpful. Here are some files for people to try/check.

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/15909840/MMO/new%20patches.7z

This download contains a replacement for the mod Don't steal my crops https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/28452/?

The original is not needed though. The mod has been updated with changes from USKP.

The download also contains patches for You Hunger/ETaC and patches for Don't steal my crops. They all merge fine with the other patches.

I would like some help with the You Hunger/ETaC patch since I'm uncertain with some stuff. I do not know how the Record Flag InitiallyDisabled relates to Z-position and if Z-position need to be carried over to the patch. I also do not know how to patch XESP - Enable Parent and what it means. In you hunger XESP often have:

XESP - Enable Parent

|_Reference: Player [00000014]

|_Flags: Set Enable State to Opposite of Parent

This sometimes conflicts with other XESP records from ETaC

Edit: I updated patch 780

Check the new change log from iNeed 1.5 - He edited meshes.

Decreased Food Availability is now Food Removal and has the added option to dynamically disable food from all interiors based on a several factors. Wealthier, more inhabited locations will be more likely to retain their food. Disabled items are randomly selected on each new game. This feature replaces much of the functionality of You Hunger but You Hunger can still be used to further remove food from the world.

Added option to disable the harvesting of crop plants (potatoes, leeks, cabbages, ash yams). *****

Added option to disable the harvesting of hanging meat (salmon, rabbits, pheasants, horkers). *****

We have discussed this in a couple of posts. I am going to try the new food removal from iNeed again and force all cells to reset to be sure I see how it does. I think almost all food should be removed. Food shouldn't be left lying around and you should have to steal/buy/hunt/kill to get food. If I need removes enough after a cell reset I'll stick with that. Otherwise I'll keep you hunger. Don't steal my crops feels like a better option than iNeeds though. I haven't tried it yet.

I now see the differences. Thanks for a reply.

I have another question.

I followed your install recommendations, dreadflopp. I am now level 24.

- Is it normal to start seeing some glass dagger in Thalmor justiciar? I killed several of them before level 20, but never seen it.

The set enable state opposite of parent function is used to disable stuff.

If you add that to any object and you load into the game world, the object will then disable itself when the player is loaded into the world

In this case the children do the opposite of the parent in terms of being disabled

What is the difference of this and all objects with just the record flag initiallyDisabled? And sometimes z-position -3000?

OK, I'll take another look at it tomorrow to see if I can make something out of it.

I am at level 21 and I found 1 glass dagger in the thalmor base which I infiltrated during the official campaign. Glass should be removed from the leveled lists. From the official morrowloot description page:

Glass equipment is given out to a few Morrowinders who managed to save some, as well as high ranking personnel in various factions.

Hey,

I recently read a lot of bad things about DUEL (notably from the TheThirdRace who advises a user to not use it - the user noticed that DUEL conflicts in some place withs TTRSO -, but in other places as well [link]). So i'm kinda worried, especially because the setup is kinda heavy on scripts. Does anyone has had any problem with it ? And if yes, are utilmate combat or deadly combat good alternatives (as in keeping the balance established by this guide)?

OK, thanks for the answer. I'm still getting the hang at understanding modding below "installing **** and not caring about the rest", that's why I'm asking here ^^. Though if you could point me where to find the 'rebutal' to this review because I thought (falsly apparently) that it made a lot of sense.

I'm on my mobile device so hard to find but if you check the Duel comments thread from months back your likely to find all the drama filled discussion. Not sure if he ever wrote an article or something like that which is easily linkable.

Duel was added to the pack by Garfink who did most of the game testing/balancing. I don't know much about combat mods and I kinda suck as a game player and die constantly. I have been googling combat mods a couple of hours but I didn't came to any good conclusion. Duels description page is kinda vague in what it does. Deadly Combat may be good, you could try that it is compatible. The Giant fix plugin from it needs to be patched/merged with AOS though. Or loaded after AOS (you'll miss out on a sound effect from AOS).

Another route would be to mix smaller mods, like ACE Realistic fighting together with an enemy AI mod. Like I said, I'm not good at this. Let me know if you come up with any suggestions.

I'm not sure if TTRSO is getting installed correctly for me. I'm using MO is install it, but no matter variation of DLCs I selecting it only installs the esp that has no suffix at the end. No DB or HF. I do have all the DLCs, but I was just curious to see what would happen if I selected different options.

It also puts the TTR_Skill_Overhaul.esp in the optional esp folder. Is that esp optional if the ESM is installed also? I notice I have 2 of the mods cloak weaponspeed fixes applied to me making my weaponspeedmult=2 so I'm attacking really fast. - found the answer to this.
