Octopuss Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 If you used the mod "Harvesting animation", this is what it evolved into. Same author, many more features.Nexus linkAdds animations for looting containers and corpses, harvesting plants, lockpicking doors and chests, opening doors, activating levers, drinking and eating potions and food and equipping armor.
CJ2311 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Ah, he made a standalone page for it? Smart move.
rootsrat Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 This is a godsend for me! I used the Harvesting Animation mod, but it wasn't well executed, quite the opposite IMHO. Looking at the video, this is great! The only thing that may annoy me after a while is the forced 3rd person, but I'd have to play for a while with it to decide. Nice find, thanks!
CJ2311 Posted February 26, 2014 Posted February 26, 2014 Roots, that's why you should always look at the optional files, this mod was on the harversting animations page for months now :p
mightyusaid Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 omg i love you i loved the idea of harvesting animations and i used it but it was so buggy hopefully this is a lot better
Galrick Posted February 27, 2014 Posted February 27, 2014 Looks interesting. My script-fu isn't great. Looking at the content of the BSA file, it seems like there's only scripts in there. Is the ESP file only a dummy file? Can this mod work with only the content of the BSA (if extracted)?
oqhansoloqo Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 I've read about a lot of weird issues with using this mod on the mod's Nexus forum: One that is mentioned by a bunch of people is a fox appearing next to the player character during an animation. Another is being blocked by the mod from interacting with objects and NPCs sometimes - apparently the mod's MCM has some sort of "emergency button" that fixes the current problem (but doesn't prevent it from happening again afterwards). Using map and journal animations causes issues with switching from journal to map in order to see the location of a quest. Anyone here using this mod and noticing any of these issues?
Octopuss Posted December 23, 2014 Author Posted December 23, 2014 The fox is, I believe, something of a workaround to make the camera moving around the player work. Something similar is being used for Vilja for one of features. The blocking can be resolved from within the MCM on per item basis. I used the mod for some time, but unfortunately the cons outweighted the pros for me.
oqhansoloqo Posted December 23, 2014 Posted December 23, 2014 Thank you for that feedback, Octopuss - that's what I assessed myself by reading the feedback (that there were a lot of errors) and also having an issue myself with the map animation. Whenever I had that animation enabled the game would just CTD whenever I tried to look at my map (and the animation was triggered).

Anyone here using this mod and noticing any of these issues?I had a weird issue. And this is why i uninstalled this mod. I was half way in White ?? Barrow and i wanted to open a chest with a lockpick. When the animation started, i was teleported back to the beginning of the tomb.? And i was only limited to move.. Nothing else.. No weapon drawn, no ducking, etc... So i loaded my save and bamn..Same thing with same chest. So i uninstalled the mod and everything works fine again. Except for the chest.. I can't open it anymore. Only a click sound when i try..Weird huh?
Octopuss Posted March 24, 2015 Author Posted March 24, 2015 I liked this mod a lot, but the amount of glitches and annoyances (having to manually unblock things all the time) far overweighted the (very) nice visual additions it brought.
