Expanded Snow Systems - Climates of Tamriel Version by JonusL2D

Expanded Snow Systems by JonusL2D

Two flavors of this mod, one for CoT user and one for the everyone else.

Both mods do the same thing by adding three new types of snow with three levels of strength. The CoT version adds new snow without taking anything weather away from CoT. The mods are compatible with Supreme Storms (if this mod loads after SS) and Wet & Cold and probably not compatible with RCRN. Anything not compatible with CoT will not be compatible with the CoT version. Has SoS patches as well for CoT version.

Three types break down like this:

1) Vertical Snow with low wind and low fog.

2) Vertical snow with large flakes, low wind and some fog.

3) Vanilla snow storm that has three variants of wind, fog and visibility.

I've played with this, its pretty good, when it kicks in you know its different. I like the variety in the weather. Necessary... nope... nice to have and shouldn't add any load to the game either.

Hmmm, not sure, I will have a look tonight when I get home from work. (I am in Hong Kong and its 5pm here.)

10 AM here, UK. I have good few hours before I'm back home from work :(

:) I have Fridays off so its Skyrim Modding time!!! Its going to be a LONNNGGG night!

I am trying something drastic tonight. I am TIRED of tip-toeing around this game engine and I do have the game stable with about 130 active esp. and lots of optimized textures. (BUT, 1 more scripted mod and the game gives me infinite loads)

BUT I do know people that have uGrids=9 (11, 15?!?) without issues. I want to see how many mods and what sort of mods I can keep and run at uGrids 9... ;P Probably all 3 mods!! ha ha.

I have a theory... if a mod causes instability at uGrids 9, it probably means that mod stresses the game at at any uGrids, maybe a more reliable? quicker to way to test mods...

Nope it does not, just adds 9 new weather systems to the climate system. In terms of CoT then it adds it to those.

They work as intended, and really does add that extra stormy bit that CoT misses!

A climate system is essentially just a lvl´ed list for weathers. As long as you place it after supreme storms then it also works fine!

Just tried graphics mods + Skyre perks + Skyrim unleashed at uGrids 7 .... nope... script issue I am sure... was fine for a long time... ran from dawnstar and everything was fine, had a few fights here and there... as I approached Whiterun... script center of the Skyrim... I see the Giant that Aela and co. will kill in the far distance (very nice you can see it coming that far away.)... the game freezes and CTDs.

Tried uGrids 9 with the same setup... freeze about a minute the way in.

Testing done. Back to playing.

Oh back on the topic, don't trust BOSS it loads this above Supreme Storms.

After a while you start becoming so experienced that you do not even run BOSS anymore! :)

But yeah it should be manually placed. I placed mine after Supreme storms, and the SOS patches below the ELFX ones I have that does the same.

One for Will to look at probably. If he won't see it here, I'll mention this to him tonight.

Oh I could do it without BOSS. I wouldn't recommend anyone do it however. I always use BOSS as a base then move things down or up depending on my experience. If the BOSS load order annoys me then I  add a rule in BUM
