Chillr3nd Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 Hello, im new in this forum so not sure if im in correct place, but.. after i updated texgen it does not work, i get error message after 6 mins and it says ] Error: Invalid resolution. Create mipmaps. while processing 5EEA79D6. Havent ever seen this before,also any clue how i can solve this ?

Remove all third party billboards. https://dyndolod.info/Help/Tree-Grass-LOD-Billboards#3rd-Party-LOD-Billboards Remove old output. Clean save. Install the new version and its requirements (https://dyndolod.info/Downloads) and generate LOD from scratch. https://dyndolod.info/Updating#New-DynDOLOD-Version If you have mods with seperate LOD resources make sure to install their DynDOLOD 3 version only if they have one.

Im trying to make billboards for this mod i uploaded https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/68798?tab=posts&BH=1 but for some reason when i run texgen 3 (no hd tree ) and dyndolod 3 (no ultra option) i still dont see my trees in game even tho the billboards are generated in the texgen files. i also made sure there where no billboards before related to my trees am i doing something wrong? another question i have is that if i run hd tree in texgen and ultra option in dyndolod 3 is there a way to still get billboards working for my trees even tho the rest is object lod? thank you for your time Edited May 29, 2022 by ianjoseph1986
ianjoseph1986 Posted May 29, 2022 Posted May 29, 2022 update> i was reading dyndolod page and it says that hd tree is just better billboards and that ultra option on dyndolod will still push out billboards for trees that dont have 3d lod. so i still have to run hd tree in texgen and ultra on dyndolod to get my oak tree billboards to show. but when i run the game i cant see them. funny enough..when i open my creation kit with dyndolod activated i can see the lods for my trees... but not in game.. xD any ideas? if someone can help i will by highly appreciated so i can start creating my mod for the nexus. thank you so much

LOD can only be generated by DynDOLOD if LOD assets exist in the load order. What existing LOD assets (billboards or 3D models) are used for which LOD Level depends on the mesh rules for trees. https://dyndolod.info/Help/Ultra-Tree-LOD#Generating HD billboards will always be preferred over standard billboards.

i am using season nifs. instead of the original nif. in the game.. because always showing or summer..or autumn, or spring or winter.. doesnt show the normal mesh ever.. could that be it? here is the As explained on the first post, upload/paste log files to a file or text sharing service. Or attach small enough files to a post. No idea if that assumption is correct, since you did not upload any of the TexGen logs as explained on the first post. It could also be that the TexGen output is not installed/active.
