WilliamImm Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Discussion thread: Wet and Cold-Ashes by isoku Wiki Link Basically needed for Wet and Cold (now reinstated in STEP) to work in Solstheim. Also, adds various effects releated to ash, including approiate gear. Requires Dragonborn and Wet and Cold (obviously) together to properly work. Accepted for STEP 2.2.6
torminater Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Used it for ever and never encountered an issue (playing human/elven races, can't guarantee for khajit, since they don't like the shader effects...)
Eliian Posted April 17, 2013 Posted April 17, 2013 Seems like a no issue add to me. Essential for those with Dragonborn. May want to put a warning in for Khajit users? I've already encountered said issue just using Wet and Cold. (Can't say if the ash effects hurt them. Wet ones do, snow ones do not. Can't test it because I do not have Dragonborn).
WilliamImm Posted May 5, 2013 Author Posted May 5, 2013 Any progress on this one at all? I mean, the new version of Live Another Life allows for a start in Solstheim - so, basically, testing would just be running this mod for a period of time and seeing if any unexpected issues pop up along the way.
Neovalen Posted May 5, 2013 Posted May 5, 2013 I use this in my SR install... it's very nice and adds immersion where you can't see strait in an ash storm without eye cover.
TechAngel85 Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I see no reason not to mark this one as accepted as an optional for those with Dragonborn. A link can simply be provided in the notes for Wet & Cold for DB users. Any second that?

Omolong Posted June 1, 2013 Posted June 1, 2013 I've been happily using this mod since I first found it, and I've had no issues with it. Though...shouldn't we make sure that the listing for it is consistent with other mods? We have some mods, like Unique Region Names, where the Dragonborn part of it is a separate file and listed in the notes (it should probably be actually linked), but then other mods, like XCE-Dawnguard, which is listed as a normal mod in the guide, instead of in the notes for XCE.

This will one consistency that should be looked at as well. For now, I'm marking this as accepted as no one has reported any issues with it thus far.

rootsrat Posted June 27, 2013 Posted June 27, 2013 New version released today. Version 1.05The Wet and Cold Icicle now disables Ash Gear when held by an NPC. Compatibility changes for Wet and Cold 1.21.
Veezy Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Should we follow the LOOT rule for Wet and Cold with this esp as well?
Veezy Posted December 11, 2014 Posted December 11, 2014 Follow all Meta Rules.Sorry, I kinda asked that wrong. Should we load AOS after this esp as well?
