I have a problem where the textures on various surfaces in Windhelm and the walls of the Jarl's residences in Morthal and Dawnstar are distorted and change color depending on the weather, time of day, etc. This effect also happens on all surfaces on the burnt down house in Morthal.

?imw=5000&imh=5000&ima=fit&impolicy=Lett?imw=50

Does anyone know of a solution for this problem?

I read that BDS 3.0 does not play well with ENB's parallax and have made sure it was disabled in STEP's Light ENB profile. I have tried downgrading to BDS 2.11 which fixes the texture bug, but I would rather have the latest version of BDS if possible. I've also noticed that the texture bug persists even if the ENB is turned off.

You clearly haven't read the mod page and stickies. Go back and do that, please.

Clearly I can't read because I can't find anything in either the mod page or the sitckied comments that would fix the issue. Yes, I know BDS does not work with parallax and I have made sure parallax was disabled in the ENB profile provided by the STEP guide. I would like to note that I followed the STEP SkyrimSE 2.0.0 guide and ensured I am using the settings as instructed for each mod.

If I am completely missing something on the mod page, please tell me where exactly. Thank you.

There is a mod in the guide, can't remember which one atm, that can cause this if you install the parallax option.

I think it's Flickering Mesh Fixes

I apologize. From the location of your post and missing context that you provided here, I assumed you were just doing your own thing. I've moved your post to the appropriate forum.

Now that we know you're running the Guide, Z is most likely right. You've installed the farmhouse meshes from Flickering Mesh Fixes. Be sure you expand the mod listing to view the instructions for its installation.

That has fixed my issue, I must have misclicked the options when I was installing everything. Thanks!

It's all good, I should have read the forum descriptions more closely. Thank you!
