z929669 Posted May 20, 2021 Posted May 20, 2021 Discussion topic: Dynamic Volumetric Lighting and Sun Shadows by TrueDraconis/lordjoseph7 Wiki Link Download only the Main File and the optional INI (need to validate this config with Step). The optional underside is redundant with Step, due to DynDOLOD 3 undersides. I have had no issues with this mod, and the effect is subtle but corrects a game limitation and does add to immersion. This mod is no longer available.
TechAngel85 Posted May 29, 2021 Posted May 29, 2021 I have no issues with this mod and it adds some missing realism in regards to shadows and sun position. I suggest the following settings for the INI to closer match that of Cathedral Weathers: [TimeOfDay] DawnHour = 4.5 SunriseStartHour = 5.0 SunriseEndHour = 8.5 DayStartHour = 9.0 DayEndHour = 16.5 SunsetStartHour = 17.0 SunsetEndHour = 21.0 DuskHour = 21.5

Will adopt those changes in my setup
DoubleYou Posted August 9, 2021 Posted August 9, 2021 The only issue I've noticed with this mod is sometimes I can really see the shadows move toward sunset. It still is a great improvement.

I keep having to do double-takes in Whiterun, thinking something is off...then I remember this mod is installed.
DoubleYou Posted March 2, 2022 Posted March 2, 2022 This mod is now hidden since EVLAS has just been released. I would mark this as dropped, except this mod never actually made it into a released guide, so I'm just going to remove the tag altogether.
