kryptopyr Posted February 17, 2013 Posted February 17, 2013 Thanks for suggesting this to STEP. I do feel that having NPCs react to traps really increases realism and immersion. Please feel free to look over the scripts (source files are included). This mod does not add any new scripts it just inserts a detection event into the vanilla trap scripts in the "on fire" event (previously traps only created a detection event in the "on hit" event).

JudgmentJay Posted February 19, 2013 Posted February 19, 2013 kryptopyr, 3 of the script files in this mod overwrite scripts from the Unofficial Skyrim Patch. macetrap.pex, magictrap.pex, and physicstrap.pex. Have you incorporated the USKP changes into your scripts or am I losing whatever fixes are in there?

But thanks for implementing it :) Will wait until there is confirmation that you have used Unofficial Skyrim Patch scripts as a base and not the vanilla kind before I download this and try it out.

Besidilo Posted March 2, 2013 Posted March 2, 2013 This should be an automatic STEP addition as long as it's confirmed bug-free. An awesome little mod that improves the gameplay by a great bit. And JJ (or kryptopyr, since they're your mods), you should definitely create a thread for Stealth Skills Rebalanced, as that looks like another addition for a thief character to me!
kryptopyr Posted April 5, 2013 Posted April 5, 2013 Alek was kind enough to provide me the source files for Follower Trap Safety, which has allowed me to create a compatibility patch between his mod and Traps Make Noise. The full version of Traps Make Noise can now be used without conflict.
