I'm hoping to get some comments here about how this mod is working. It's getting a lot of "doesn't work" comments since the last SSE update, and I haven't playtested GIST.

It's also notable that GIST doesn't play correctly with Rare Curios Varla Stones.

Sadly I am not being able to playtest without a functioning windows computer right now, i remember GIST being 'buggy', meaning having soul gem notifications in game but not always with the corresponding actions (filled, shrunk or otherwise displaced soulgems) taken.

It might also be an alternative to use the two patches in 'Scrambled Bugs', which restore the gameplay to a more vanilla, albeit tedious state, of catching souls only in their appropriate gem counterparts:

  • Soul Gems: Black (default: disabled)
    Trap only black souls in black soul gems.
  • Soul Gems: Underfilled (default: disabled)
    Trap only souls of the appropriate size in soul gems. A miscellaneous file reflects this change in the notification displayed when you fail to capture a soul.
