It looks like the Skyrim SE links to both the DynDOLOD Standalone & DynDOLOD Resources files are identical, both links point to the Standalone file.

Thank YOU for not only the unexpectedly fast fix, but for the update itself and the huge amount of work you put in regularly for the tool. =)

(Also love the quote in your sig. heh. )

I get errors when building lod with dyndolod64.exe, using latest version 2.60 SSE.

Logfiles: http://www.mediafire.com/file/tsunckd5rafeobd/Logs.rar/file

edit: It says

Error reading meshes\terrain\Tamriel\Tamriel.4.4.-12.btr from BSA/BA2 The lz4 assembly requires the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 runtime installedlz4.AnyCPU.loader

Am I missing VS 2015 runtime?? I have them though..

Edit again: Ok, I read the OP again and grabbed the VS17 runtime from the link. Somehow that version wasn't installed, and I try it again now. But before 2.60 it built fine, and I didn't changed anything.. Is that requirement new? Cannot find it in the changelog.

Good you solved it , but since you asked :)

That requirement exists since Skyrim SE / LZ4 support was added to LODGen.exe 2 and half years ago and then DynDOLOD 2.22. The LODGen.exe/LODGenx64.exe in 2.60 is the same as in 2.59.

Got an exception when running the new beta.

I did recently remove Enhanced Vanilla Trees and install Simply Bigger Trees (along with the Skyrim is Windy) patch, is it possible something about that caused the crash? The error does seem to be caused by a missing tree, but I thought I did uninstall EVT properly...

Is that error repeatable when you try again?

Edit:

Can you also upload these files if they exist:

DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\cache\DynDOLOD_SSE_atlas_map_tamriel.txt
DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\cache\DynDOLOD_SSE_flat_textures.txt
DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\cache\DynDOLOD_SSE_lodgen.txt
DynDOLOD\Edit Scripts\DynDOLOD\cache\DynDOLOD_SSE_arnimaduplicate003_textures_used.txt

Which mod is textures\lodgen\skyrim.esm\reachtreestump01_000b8a75.dds from? HD-Lods?

Please test with version 2.61, I think I found and fixed that error.

Does the entire load order load into xEdit and can build references OK?

Does it work when you generate DLC01SoulCairnby itself?

Use the legal version of the game.

Only with DLC01SoulCairn everything is generated normally, without errors.

The log is saved to file when closing the program. Otherwise copy and paste the entire message window.

This might happen because something is preventing read/write access.

From the DynDOLOD Standalone archive copy the content of the 'DynDOLOD' folder, which contains the files DynDOLOD.exe, TexGen.exe, DynDOLOD_QuickStart.html and the sub folders 'Docs' and 'Edit Scripts' with all their content into a new 'DynDOLOD' folder outside of special OS folders like 'Programs Files' or 'Program Files (x86)', the SteamApps or game folders and Mod Organizers virtual file structure. Do not mix with old versions or xEdit installation.

It dosn't work... Even with ver 2.60.

If OS, antivir etc prevent read/write access the version of DynDOLOD doesn't matter. Though I wonder if the error message is different.

Here is a video:

Can't get the log file because the program can't exit normally.

Sometimes the program crashes directly.
