sirjesto
I restarted after updating/changing a few mods, including DynDOLOD, and I get CTDs all the time now. At first I thought it was Immersive Creature's extra spawns because there are some complaints of that on Nexus. It usually happens when exploring, zoning out of buildings into an exterior cell, or loading right after dying. Seems like something in exterior cells is causing random crashes. I love what xLODGEN/DynDOLOD does, but I am going to remove them and see if it fixes the issue. May just have to ditch DynDOLOD and use xLODGEN for everything. I don't use Ultra Trees anyway.Immersive Creatures extra spawns were 100% causing CTD's for me.I'm quite the geek modder and I never crash, so when I do, it weirds me out, lol.Anyways, didn't take too long for me to find out it was SIC.I never wanted to use SIC in my game to begin with and only added it to my list for the 2 artifacts in the Museum. So I basically just disabled everything to do with random or extra spawns in the MCM.No more crashes and I still get the artifacts. Yeah, honestly I am just going to remove it completely and restart again. When someone like you says it has problems, I trust it. I also found a post saying the "CTD after death" bug was caused by SIC. I just want to play the game at this point and this mod seems a bit unstable. So far I haven't had a CTD after removing it and using xLODGEN for all LOD generation. Edited June 29, 2018 by tyrindor Link to comment
Kneph13
So it looks like TMB Vanilla Armors is down on Nexus. It says that its under review by the moderators.Boo! Some SJW must have gotten offended by "skimpy". *shakes head* Edited June 29, 2018 by Kneph13 Link to comment

Kneph13
Yeah I doubt that's the reason. More likely stolen assets. I certainly hope not, I like the mod. I have Book of UUNP also for the variety. Both of these together makes for nice but not too skimpy. Fantasy armor style with a touch of realism. Edited June 29, 2018 by Kneph13 Link to comment

Shadriss
I thought that TMB was just a bodyslide conversion of the armors, isn't it? I wouldn't think that any assets COULD be stolen in that situation. The textures should just be the original ones, with new body meshes provided by the mod, right? True on both points! ...and TMB was always on its own site even in LE if I remember correctly, maybe that's why. Edited June 29, 2018 by Kneph13 Link to comment
MonoAccipiter
I had a chat with the author of Inn Room Costs about a patch for BS:Bruma and he uploaded one earlier today. Might be worth checking out: https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/11877?tab=files Link to comment
tyrindor
After much testing I believe I found the cause of my CTDs in Riften. Out of desperation I tried disabling every mod that I could think of that had anything to do with Riften and I continued to crash. When that failed I decided to try disabling Immersive Citizens for no reason other than I didn't know what to do next and I had had trouble with that mod in previous play throughs. In order to get the game to load I had to disable numerous other mods/patches etc. After all that was disabled there were no more crashes. As further testing I decided to re-enable Immersive Citizens to see if I got the crashes again to confirm that Immersive Citizens was the cause. I re-enabled that mod plus everything else I had to disable with the exception of Dyndolod.esp; I forgot to click that one. When I loaded I still had no crashes. It turns out that somehow Dyndolod was the cause. To make that even more confusing I spent a significant amount of time in and around Solitude, Helgen, Whiterun, and Riverwood and never crashed. I only ever crashed when zoning in and out of buildings in Riften plus one crash in Ivarstead and one crash in Darkwater Crossing. Gonna re-run the dyndolod patcher to see if that fixes things. If not I'll just play without it. After testing DynDOLOD and Riften area, can confirm. Going in and leaving buildings in the area results in CTD almost every time. It happens randomly everywhere for me, but Riften it's consistent. Something is up with DynDOLOD (latest build). I'll make a post over there. Edited June 29, 2018 by tyrindor Link to comment

sirjesto
Is there anyway to narrow it down? Takes a long time to run DynDOLOD while disabling mods in groups.Well, removing mods and running DynDLOD wouldn't be a good way to do it, no.Probably best to do Texture/Mesh scans with various tools on mods that you suspect could contain the bad assets.
