Getting an error message involving a duplicate FormID by DynDOLOD.esp

Question

Posted (edited)

Hello all,

I'm trying to build DynDOLOD but after I start to build it, I get an error message shortly after. The message is as follows:

"Exception in unit functions line 97: Duplicate FormID [0001A275] in file [EC] DynDOLOD.esp"

Now, I know the FAQ talks about this but I'm under the impression that it's a conflict between two other mods, and not DynDOLOD.esp itself, which doesn't even exist in my load order since it's supposed to be built after I wait for this installer to build.

I've checked in TES5Edit, and it seems that the FormID 0001A275 is the WhiterunWindDistrict03 cell within Whiterun, near the Talos statue. What else can I do with this information? I see a few other mods that are modifying the area as well, should I disable them and then try to rebuild, and if that works just turn them on afterwards?

I've also already tried disabling my Bashed Patch and then running DynDOLOD, but the same exact error occurs. I'm also using Mod Organizer and I made sure everything else was installed correctly, TexGen worked fine to produce textures to use with DynDOLOD for example.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Check the load order for errors with xEdit.exe before generating LOD. In xEdit, mark and right click plugins and select "Check for Errors"

Fix all errors as much as possible.
