Skyrim Revisited Pre-Release Feedback

Recommended Posts

I've seen this before with Embers HD before it was included in SRLE. Not sure if someone already brought this up. Ember is (leaking?) clipping out of the light thingy. Is this supposed to happen in the SRLE setup? I have SRLE+REGS w/o Vividian ENB + additional retexture mods.

Appears to be a problem with the Ultimate HD Fire meshes... I've gone ahead and removed the patch from Embers HD and it looks good. Fire didn't look any different and the overflowing issue is gone. Thanks for the report.

Looks like game is finally stable, so last question before i can start playing. When do you sugest to I setup the mods in the mcm menu? When the cariage starts to roll or when?

I generally set up my stuff in the Alternate Start cell but since your not using that I suggest you do it after entering Helgen Keep with Hadvar or Ralof.

Hi,

I install your faboulous guide for the second time.

I think it miss some instruction  for the merged patch in Vividian install.

AOS (Audio Overhaul for Skyrim)  is required as master as wearable lantern.

TES5Edit Mod Merge Required: (Merging Guide)
Files to merge:

  • Vividian - Weather Patch Vanilla.esp
  • Vividian - Weather Patch CoT + AOS.esp
  • Vividian - Extended Weathers.esp
  • Vividian - Extended Weathers - CoT.esp
  • Vividian - Torches Preset.esp
  • Vividian - Wearable Lanterns Preset.esp

Output file:

  • Vividian ENB.esp

Mod folder name:

  • Vividian ENB Merge
20px-Info-Logo.png       Notice:This merge requires Wearable Lanterns to be installed.

So I only just looked at the ELFX patch for Realistic Room Rental Enhanced (before I've always used the basic version). It seems all the patch does is revert any changes ELFX made. While that makes sense for things like light placement (since RRR redecorates), it also overwrites things like emittance changes. Doesn't that mean, essentially, we don't get the benefit of ELFX when inside inns?

Hi

Some questions about DDSopt.

1. Should I do both "texture processing" and "normal maps" processing on every mod that need DDsopt?

2. What DSopt exe files should I use, 32 or 64 bit? I have win 7 64 bit and installed both versions according to guide.

Edit: Found some answers on forum so I made a new question

Yes, all that's saying is you either add those two mods at the time you do the merge and them move them back into the suggested positions in the guide when you get to them.

OR

You just do the merge as per the guide once you have all the mods installed, like I tend to do.

Hi Neo,

Just a bit of a suggestion...

The most recent changes to the guide have TES5LODGen as mod-title appear twice; before the DYNDOLod mod and after.

I believe this will create problems (or uncertainties) to some users since MO will ask them to Replace, Merge or Rename the second time they will be trying to install TES5LODGen.

Therefore I would suggest to alter the naming to TES5LODGen - Vanilla Billboards and TES5LODGen - SFO Billboards respectively.

Thanks! :)

Hi Neo,

A new suggest:

In Improved Closedfaced Helmet you have a curious install order

Main File:

  • imp_helm_legend.esp (Use Weapons and Armor Fixes - Remade replacer ESP download above.)

And

BOSS Masterlist Update Required: (Updating Guide)

  • imp_helm_legend.esp AFTER imp_helm.esp

I suppose BOSS Masterlist is sequel?
