SRLE: Legacy of The Dragonborn Reqtified

Ya I have Champollion 32bit and the Papyrus compiler with the patch for 64bit systems done.  Nothing installed in program files either so UAC shouldn't be an issue.  I did attempt to redownload RDO finalA, but didn't have any success.  I'm really at a loss here what the difference could be. As far the Merged file scripts, it does have all the scripts that are in the patches and the RDO main mod so hopefully will be fine.  If I do run into issue's in game, since the merge is not a master file for anything, could I just forgo this merge altogether?  I assume the load order would be the same as the merge order in such a case, placed where the merge would have been.  Or if that's not really an option, what about taking relationship dialogue overhaul out of the merge, but still merging the patches, then placing RDO above the merged patches in load order?

Excited to say that I recently upgraded to a EVGA GTX 1070. Not excited to say that I'm still somehow having memory problems. Started a new character and ran from Blackreach to Windhelm a couple times to troubleshoot. Each time I crashed just outside of Windhelm, by the stables. I am not using SMC, but with my new card I opted for all the texture settings the base guide recommended, and DynDOLOD set to High preset. I must be messing something up in the memory allocation steps. SPM shows that the maximum amount of vram being used is ~3500. The card has 8gb of vram. When using console to show memory blocks, they are at around 80% with CustomMemoryBlockTotalSizeMb set to 128 in Crash Fixes.ini. I tried to set AlignHeapAllocate to 0 as suggested by the crash notification, but that didn't seem to do much (It did seem like it lowered memory usage and load times though.)

Here's some screens of SPM:

AlignHeapAllocate=1

AlignHeapAllocate=0

I'm not sure if this is worth noting, but I swear when I used to use ENB, on startup it would tell you how much vram was allocated to skyrim in the upper left corner, along with your card model. I am not seeing this. There's just a gap in between the copyright and the GPU. Not sure if that's an update to ENB or if that's what I'm messing up. Here's a screen of the notification on startup (sorry about the SPM stuff in the way, couldn't disable the overlay before the ENB notification went away.)

So yeah. I'm not sure what I'm messing up, but it must be something since I have plenty of vram to use now. If you'd like me to post my enblocal settings or anything else, just ask. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

Also worth mentioning is that VideoMemorySizeMb is grayed out in the ingame enb menu.

Sorry for spamming the thread with memory allocation problems but I seriously cannot figure out what's wrong. Pretty frustrating that I just upgraded yet it seems like memory allocation is just not working.

you crash in the same spot? and only there?

Sometimes it crashes in the stables outside Windhelm, sometimes it doesn't and I have time to buy a carriage to Whiterun. So far, it has crashed 100% of the time when I get in the carriage and there's a loading screen.

And this problem happened immediately after you installed the new card?  With the lack of showing the card in the upper left, it kind of sounds like ENB is looking for your last card, which isn't there.  I wonder where it pulls from-if it's something that the Skyrim launcher detects at startup, maybe you need to run that again?

This is also pertinent to my interests, since I'm about to upgrade to a 1080.

That's a good suggestion, but my card is showing up fine in the upper left hand corner. The problem is that it doesn't show how much vram is allocated.

Also, I was having memory problems when I had a GTX 970. I don't think it's a problem with the 1070

Hi. im back... after trying SSE, i just give up on it, pretty nice performance, but hard to make bash patch lots of bugs, and no guide like this ones here yet. So since i deleted all skyrim directory, i want to know which guide to follow, yash or requiem, because since there is no update for Requiem guide a lot of mods may have newer version now, which would ask for newer patch (i may be wrong here). This time i will go 1k for everything possible, maybe just 4k cabage...kkk.

CVKiller2013 , i just installed requiem, all seems up to date. Only one mod

  1. Requiem - Behind the Curtain 1.7magnifier.png

is newer. BUt apparently no impact ...

I merged miscelleanous mods, changed the name of the esp because was different from your guide .

+ i didn't extract bsas for auto unequip ammo and simpleknock.

in MCM, i d'ont have the translated word, but the variable $AUA_ConfigHeader1, ...

DO i need to remerge the files, w/ bsas extracted ?

i got a 1070 too and i got no memory problems.

Try increasing the custom memory value more than 128... i got 128 but maybe your system needs more. If you got win7 then you can't run out of memory with the 1070.... also others experienced this because of bad drivers. Try installing latest drivers for nvidia, install latest drivers for your mainboard (especially the chipset driver is important in memory allocation). Your system is 100% configured properly? I mean your memory is set to run in dual channel and no bad overclocks or something?

have you installed properly all crash fixes related files? i mean SKSE Plugin Preloader plugin.

also check your ENB installation. You installed and enb preset or not ?

you can choose any guide. Both are good and can be used. Requiem has not been updated except BTC but can be safely installed to the latest. All the rest of the mods are preset in the YASH guide aswell so that one is up to date.

Read both YASH and REQUIEM mod pages for info an decide which one you would like.

I haven't messed with any of my own overclocking, card is fresh out of the box. I'm not sure if it's running in dual channels (and honestly I don't know what that means), I'll check. I just updated the video card driver but I'll check for updates on the mainboard. I have the plugin preloader and other prerequisites installed. I'm using the Vividian ENB. Also, when you say increase the custom memory value greater than 128, do you mean the ReservedMemorySize setting in enblocal? Thanks for taking the time to help me out! Edited by Lewd
