Cities overhaul. still in its infancy but the author seems invested in developing it and making it compatible with a lot of stuff. adds new locations as well but will have modular installation once it's more mature.

Maybe in the future it will be a good alternative to use in REGS if/when Tech revives it like promised

REGS revival is low on my list right now. You should be able to use it in its current state as long as you install the Lite version of ICAIO.
