Couldn't we create a LoTD Patch that has it look for the new merge file rather than the individual ones?  

no because that's the script in LOTD and one requires scripting knowledge to do it ....

Yes, I'm well aware that it's a script... doesn't change the fact that we can create our own patch for it.  I'm a professional software developer I'm sure there are others in this community that are as well.

The scripts are decompiled already in the /source folder. It's easy to find the references that need changing using Notepad++ Find In Files and just search the entire LOTD source folder for ".esp", edit the esp names as required, recompile, make mod with correct folder structure so original scripts get overwritten. Or am I missing something?

 

Only thing would be if merging the plugins results in any of the FormIDs being renumbered then those changes would also need to be reflected in the patch scripts, again not difficult.

i tried your way and i can't find any refference to the esps we want to merge.

Is there really a need for this complex patch of all the treasure mods being merged? I mean surely it would just be much easier to just drop several mods that we can do without from the two other guides?

I think it's easier to add more plugins from SRLE+extended to the existing merges...I could create a list if you want

yes this would be easiest I already have a idea for a new merge.

Here are some merges form SRLE and SRLEX that I use..Some have dependencies that can be swapped in xEdit..Hope I didn't forget anything, but it's hard to remember which is used in SRLEX and which is not :D

Darth what are the specific plugins that cannot be merged, I may have a method that you can use to get around that.
