jdsmith2816 Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Forgive me but what is TGR, there are so many acronyms to keep tract of lol.Ah, sorry, Thieves Guild Requirements is part of the SRLE LOTD guide.
InstantKor Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Awe awesome thankyou! I was thinking at first maybe TGR was Thieves Guild Reborn :P
wisethug Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Well I'm just pissed now. There are too much deleveled ennemies in this game, because of AAE. I'm level 10, and I'm encountering level 30 bandits... Lvl 10 bandits are already a challenge. Can I safely remove AAE from my game ?

Can I safely remove AAE from my game ?You can remove it as long as you also check for and remove any mods depending upon it. You should also go through the CR guide to find any references which you should also remove from your version of the CR. For AAE in particular... there are several patches you'd need to remove as well as merges to be rebuilt. There are also definitely things in the CR guide you will need to revert. As far as save file safety... IIRC AAE doesn't include any scripts so you can simply yank it out once the above is complete. If, however, you look in the folder and find a scripts directory you should perform the standard save file clean procedure. After the above is done and you've loaded back into a savefile without AAE in your load order you'll need to perform a full cell respawn. This applies to any mod that alters levels/stats/etc of enemies. Otherwise any already spawned enemies will retain the stats they had until respawn. The above applies to every mod in the guide. wisethug Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Thanks for the info. I'm torn because I really like some of the changes from AAE, regarding resistances and custom combat styles, but I canno't STAND the level of the NPCs... Are you guys ok with your game ? I'm level 10 atm, 20 hours in, and boy those encounters are hard... I don't really wanna play with 3 followers neither and do nothing.
InstantKor Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Im fine with it honestly, it adds some much needed variety of challenge in my game. In fact I took it one step further and am using the increase encounter zone from Static PermaZONES. What this forces me to do is if i get annihilated in a area then I would have to retreat and try again later on instead of being able to tackle any area in my first encounter.

Astakos Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 (edited) There's still this issue with some mages with no ankles like Mirabelle Ervine https://imgur.com/YTfKF2hI used to have this issue as well since Mirabelle Ervine is using CWI's default outfit, which changes the boots compared to vanilla default outfit. This is not the actual problem...the problem comes from the meshes that cover these boots. Long story short...UNP Female Armors' "Meshes\Clothes\FineClothes01\BootsF_1.nif" and "Meshes\Clothes\FineClothes01\BootsF_0.nif" are to blame since they are not carrying over the USLEEP (USKP back then) fixes for invisible angles.Hide them in MO so USLEEP's meshes win. No more Mirabelle "No-Angles" Ervine! Edited August 17, 2016 by Astakos

Alluistras Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 If you like mud crabs so powerful they destroy entire towns then animal tweaks is awesome.....i dont. Combat evolved is fantastic.....but he missed the boat with animal tweaks. Ditto. I got to Riverwood once and had dead towns people on the ground - killed by a mudcrab. I didn't like that. Another time, I had a quest to kill a bear, and I could not kill it. Yet another time, I had a tiger wipe out an entire Orc stronghold. Trolls were untouchable. It made my summoned wolves godly... but I mean. It's just overdone. I don't want every fight with a skeever or mudcrab to be a boss fight.
baronaatista Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 I use the base game balanced patch from AT and it doesn't have those issues. Mudcrabs and Skeevers are tougher than they should be, I'll give you that, but not ridiculously so.
