I've discovered a very strange issue with companions in Fallout 3. As I add items to their inventory, they eventually reach their carry weight cap as usual and I can no longer add items. However, if I then reenter their inventory, I can continue adding items for a while again until they hit another limit. Sometimes this can take a few attempts. Repeating this effectively gives them infinite carry weight. I forced my companion's carry weight to 300 with the 'forceav' command and then started this process by adding items to their inventory; each time I hit a new limit I would check their carry weight using 'getav' and it will have increased. I have tested this on Fawkes and Star Paladin Cross.

I followed the STEP Fallout 3 Guide (https://wiki.step-project.com/User:Kelmych/Fallout3) and as such have the FWE Followers Enhanced Plugin and JIP Companions, which might be relevant.
Thanks for any advice on this :)
